everything together. witnesses describing perrifying homes that least one person dead, two people seriously injure and a driver who took off. >> as i came out the door it all opened up and the police started to arrive there. >> reporter: witnesses describing the scene overnight in lawrence at the north andover line. that is where police say the operator of a motorcycle struck a man and had woman crossing the street in the crosswalk. the motorcyclist ended up on the roader that is when police say he was run over by a car that kept going. >> you would aseem they knew they struck someone. we are not sure. unfortunately they didn't stop. >> reporter: the motorcyclist, a 64-year-old man from methuen was pronounced dead at the scene. other victims were rushed to the hospital. david ran out after the crash. >> it was very chaotic. that it was. thought about it all night. shocking.

injured dog. vets say she would have died if she wasn't found by the worker. >> this is my friend, charlie, she is a one year -- >> reporter: she maying small but charlie is a fighter. >> she was' hit by a train and had her leg amputated. >> reporter: she went up against a train between the roslindale and forest hill stop last week. she was' rushed to memorial center by a worker who found her on the tracks. >> the most important move is to get them to an emergency facility and shock can cause them to die. >> reporter: the mspca is not sure how charlie ended up on the tracks but believes she was someone's pet at one point. >> i do think she was probably owned by somebody. i'm not sure of the circumstances on how again she got to the tracks but her face was shaved.

stepped in the street. >> reporter: she never saw it coming. a woman stepped on to boilstop and was almost immediately hit by a duck boat. a closer look at the video shows people walking in the crosswalk as a woman carrying a result ships into the street several feet in front of the crosswalk and right into the paths of a giant duck boat slowing to a stop. woman is knocked over but wasn't seriously hurt but duck boats have had much worse outcom. in april a woman riding a scooter windows killed when she was' struck by a duck boat. a few months later a woman was hit by a duck boat in the backs bay. she survived. some state lieders called for more safety measures like prohibiting drivers from also being narrators on the tour. boston duck tours released an incident to show the driver did nothing wrong and said they're committed to operating same.

and then starts to raise it. the man walked back to his bike and rode away. the department has ordered nor flags. community members upset after this video surfaces, it shows a girl being pepper sprayed by police in the back of a police car. police say the teen was resisting arrest and after the ins accident dozens of people gathered to protest peacefully. at a protest for police accountability in maryland, contention -- >> you n everything that you do. >> reporter: was met with communication. >> come with me, i'll get your information. >> reporter: all of this because a 16-year-old girl was pepper sprayed by officers with the haggertown police department. victim's attorney said she was' also thrown against a wall by an officer. police say she resisted arrest. (screaming). >> she was 15 years old. you can't tell me that it's two ground men needed to use

it were with the drought. showers are tied to a cold front that will sweep into southern new england for the weekend and really into early next week as well. fall is here. head of the charles 29 day itself away, halloween is 38 days away and day light save time comes to an end in 44 days. the drought is still with with s in spite of the rain. but right here we had was telling meash burnham over 4 inches of rain. nothing, no response to that so that shows you how severe this drought is ands how it's going to take several events to work our way out of the drought. then when you look back over the last four years, back to 2012, we've been running a four-year deficit of about 28 inches below normal. before that in 2008 to 2011 we were' running about 25 inches above normal.

things off for the weekend. >> ryan: new england patriots hosting texan tonight. >> kim: abuse allegations surfacing after a celebrity split. >> announcer: 7 news at 5:00 starts now. >> kim: we break with breaking news at 5:00. the tulsa police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black man on a city street will face charges. video from the shooting showed the man walking away from the officer with his arms in the air. >> reporter: the officer is being degree manslaughter. john cuoco has the latest. >> reporter: officer betty shelby is a five-year veteran of the tulsa, oklahoma police officer. now she is facing serious charges. officer shelby shot and killed tress crutcher last friday. the police department originally called the shooting justified. shelby was paid on paid administrative leave immediately after the shooting. footage showed crutcher walking away slowly with his hands in the air. her attorney says crutcher
