sea nathan carmen is back on land. he was found alive in the midle of the ocean 100-miles from martha's vineyard by this freighter. he was reported missing and handed off to the coast guard on tuesday morning. he was found in a life raft with a jacket on and food and water. carmen and his mother left on september 18th on what was supposed to be a 12-hour trip. butyl da did not make it into the life raft. >> the boat started taking on water he got his raft he went looking for his mom, he could not find her. >> heartbreak my heart hurt because she was not with him, he was found after the coast guard called off the six day search on friday after covering 62,000 square miles from block island to new york. now in connecticut where she lives and where nathan grew up
