that northeast wind will pick up intensity through the day out of the 15-20 miles an hour from the northeast. oddly enough a northeast wind from the northeast j.r. cool and raw with pockets of light rain and drizzle. movie towns less than .1 of an inch of rain. time line shows clouds all day long but not much in the way of rain. do you have a couple of blobs that come in off the ocean so i think coastal locations have a higher chance of the drizzle and mist and light rain opposed to locations farther inlan not going to be a lot of significant precipitation. maybe a little bit more through the cape where those locations may be an additional quarter of an inch of rain. metro boston, north and west pockets of drizzle and mist million a cool, raw day that will feel like october more than september. thursday a lot of clouds. a few peeks of sunshine. i don't think we'll have rain thursday. it's windy and the wind is from northeast. still cool and raw. upper 50s to around 60.

boston and spent much of the day talking to the coast guard. nancy chen is live with more. >> reporter: police in vermont executed a search warrant at the home of 22-year-old nathan carman today. he arriveded at the coast guard station reuniting with his father. he went out on a fishing trip with his mother when their boat sank and after a failed seven by crews, a freighter ship saw nathan floating in a raft about 100 miles south of ma he had been at sea at that point for eight days. his mother, 55-year-old linda carman hasn't been found and the search for her has since been suspended. the coast guard is questioning nathan carman investigating what went wrong on the boat. >> ryan: also on 7 today's rain has moved out but there is issuing a police -- police are issuing a wet weather warning. bourne police posted this video as a warning.
