so no witnesses saw the attack. a couple recovering after they were hit by a tow truck in newton center. this happened on beacon street last night. police say the man and woman were in the crosswalk when the truck hit them. the driver stayed on the scene. there is no word yet on the conditions of the victims. >> christa: four day care locations had to get shut down. terry's little pumpkins lok located in medford, chelsea, reve a down. after losing their license when state investigators found that the day care violated several state regulations. according to court documents, state investigators say there was insufficient food and drink for the children. dead mice were found behind a refrigerator. staff members nodding off while taking care of children. a day care worker also allegedly left a child unattended in a transportation van. parents say they are shocked about it. >> are you surprised it is closing? >> yeah. i'm surprised.
