accused of dealing drugs to other lawmakers. now detectives say they've made their case. kimberly bookman in new hampshire with more of the details tonight. >> reporter: despite the findings in this investigation this representative is not going to face any charges in this case. investigators say there is not enough evidence for them to win in court. the new hampshire attorney generals office findings today. the conclusion is that the 30 year old lawmaker did in fact smoke marijuana at let state house and sold the drug to 4 other legislators. there was not enough evidence to make the case. the state's investigation into tasker was launched after he was arrested in march for soliciting sex from a 14-year-old girl online.

mushrooms and other drugs as well as supplies to distribute them. he was charged in local county for all of that. the state wanted to know if tasker was selling drugs out of his home or on state property. track down possible lawmakers involved in his alleged drug deals. the people interviewed by the state they thought tasker was trying to help people that needed medical marijuana for and eventually resigned. now the lawmakers that were allegedly involved in these drug deals names listed in these findings. the speaker of the house says it's up to the voters to decide if they keep their jobs. ; we are learning new information about a mother at of a mystery at sea. a plot twist here. according to investigators at

suspected in her father's killing. jonathan hall live in middletown connecticut with these details. >> reporter: it's funny you should say plot twist. it does feel like a tv movie. a very involved story involving with an elderly man who was murdered his daughter lost at sea. the last person to see them alive was nathan carmen the subject of a multi-state police investigation. after ye woman lost at sea her son alive after a week floating in a raft. >> holy cow was my reaction. >> reporter: says she loved her son nathan and spoke often with struggles with aspergers. he was named a suspect in his grandfather's 2013 murder. no charges were filed against him. >> i take her at her word that this was a nonviolent individual

harmed his grandfather. >> reporter: gerald cline reveals he represented carmen in a 2011 assault case. >> an argument broke out. there was some physical -- >> reporter: 17-year-old nathan carmen was evaluated in a psyche ward. linda carmen and her wealthy father argue body money. in that waiting room a violent scene a family police describe linda carmen attacking her own dad. cline says chickalis threatened to stop supporting linda and nathan. clark carmen left his ex-wife's home tonight without commenting on these developments. cline says 2 years later police questioned linda carmen 3 times about the murder of her father

to linda. >> reporter: dark and rainy night in middletown connecticut. we are in front of linda carmen's home. this is where the police came last night. they had a search warrant. they took out a lot of evidence. live in middletown jonathan hall 7 news. >> anchor: to the latest on the new jersey commuter crash. the ntsb hoping to learn clues about the train's black before the train barreled into the terminal. john cocoa live for us in hoboken new jersey tonight with the latest on the developments. >> reporter: they're also looking at cameras on the outside of the train. investigators here are hoping they'll provide clues as to what may have happened. investigators are searching for answers into why new jersey transit train 1614 never slowed

local hospital. the mayor of hoboken praised the police, first respondents, fire fighters and her citizens. >> this is a tragedy. major concern for our community. i'm proud of how our community came together to help one another once again through another tragedy. >> reporter: and the nts b is expecting they'll be here on scene for a week to 10 days. live in hoboken new jersey john cocoa 7 news baltsing a boat fire. that's at the continental marina there. able to put out the fire before it spread to boats or structures. nobody was hurt. >> anchor: a car going off course in west yarmouth crashing through the fences of a motel. she fell asleep when she veered off the road and through those fences almost into a motel pool.

>> now on 7 a t employee kicking back with a pile of cash. the mbta dealing with a counting concern. >> anchor: so a picture showing a t worker face down on a yoga mat on the job. >> anchor: this problem pose is raising this surveillance photo inside the mbta's money room shows an employee sprawled out face down behind a wall. the picture it was taken in february. it appears to show another t worker off to the right. the mbta released a photo as it pushes for privatizing the collections system. which counts 142 million dollars a year in that money room.

there was no logical reason for the transit system to be in the cash handling business. >> in situations like the money room where there are people much better at it than the t is we should talk to them about having them provide us that service. >> anchor: let employee lying down is not one of its members. the union speculates the 2 individuals in the photo by be t managers or just yesterday it released a statement saying it's nothing more than a distraction from the fact they failed to make the necessary investments to provide riders and over all management talk more about this situation. we don't know if the t is pushing forward on this. they expect to have a proposed contract for the cash handling operations next month. >> 7 weather with meteorologist

far. this is the beginning. boston point south a 10th of an inch to a quarter of an inch. look at nantucket you can quickly pick up a fast amount close to an inch on nantucket. scattered showers moving through. i think they're breaking apart a bit. less spots getting that heavier or steadier rain fall. in boston right now at fenway it's still going. it is the lighter rain fall in green colors and yellow blips showing up. i do expect this heavier band to track through fenway within the next 30 to 45 minutes. not done with the wet weather yet. going to be a long night there. heavier rain fall in well fleet. moved through nantucket. breaks to watch for. i hope we will be able to get a game in tonight.

rain fall. tomorrow afternoon scattered showers in nature break apart. we could get it to be lighter showers or patchy drizzle by sunday even lighter showers and more likely for patchy drizzle. the heaviest time period for rain fall will be tonight through tomorrow. by sunday night we could pick up a hefty amount of rain. a half an inch to an inch and a half. some of the areas that get hit the hardest closer to 2 an current temperatures still cool for us in the mid 50s. we still have that breeze out of the northeast. makes it feel chillier out there. we check in with category 4 hurricane matthew. this is an incredible storm. it dropped in pressure by 34 millibars. you see where it's at now to the north of columbia. tracking to the north southwest at this point.
