? kris we are seeing more devastation left behind by hurricane matthew. the first batch of aid from the united nations has been delivered to haiti now. the u.n. delivering rice and koobing oil, among some other food items to the people in need. the air strip in haiti is unable to accommodate large

a highway accident when a man driving the wrong way slammed right into their vehicle. the deadly drive didn't end there. detectives say the man then stole a police cruiser and continued his dangerous drive. >> reporter: charred and mangled metal, all that's left of a vermont police cruiser. five teens were killed. several more injured in this crash. >> this is extremely unusual. to have this many fatalities in one crash. >> reporter: police say this man was dring lane on an interstate when he hit another car. an officer found the car engulfed in flames. that is when police say he stole the cruiser and sped away with the lights still flashing. after running into police, he turned around, headed back toward the initial scene and hit 7 more vehicles before being taken into custody. >>. >> this is difficult for not only the members on the scene, the rescue personnel that responded. fire personnel.

this after the fact. >> kris: tonight there will be a candlelight vigil in harwood, vermont where the five teens attended high school. >> anchor: following a train derailment in new york. the national transportation safety board is investigating an incident that left dozens injured on long island. officials say the commuter train came off the track saturday night after partially colliding with a maintenance train. 33 people were injured. everyone is expected to recover. in flipped in san francisco. 30 people were sent into the water when the boat tipped over on saturday. rescuers were able to successfully save everyone from the frigid water. a little boy was in critical condition and is now expected to be okay. right now crews are searching for that boat. two police officers in palm springs, california shot and killed when they responded to a domestic disturbance this past weekend. the suspect is now facing charges.
