and so the traffic right over my shoulder is fairly slow because it's a holiday. it's usually obviously very heavily traveled. especially during rush hour it's a good thing it's quiet around 4:00 p.m. this is was pretty scary sight near exit 17 here in newton that drivers came upon. as you can see from the video from sky search, there's a silver sedan face facing congress direction in eastbound lane of pike. car wedged up against a concrete barrier and surrounded by newton firefighters and state police. at was pointed west in that eastbound lane. what we do know is that the driver was put on a stretcher at the scene and taken away in an ambulance car was also toe wood from the scene. now traffic was around this area due to all the response but it appears only reel one lane of traffic was closed. back out here live now you're looking at the mass pike you can see traffic is moving at regular speed. but of course it's not as heavily traveled today.
