as to who was specifically at the controls at the time of impact, i do not have that. >> reporter: the crash survivor was brought to the hospital with burns on his body. police say he is expected to be okay. and he is speaking with the f.b.i. live from east hartford, victoria warren, 7 news. >> sarah: thank you very much. also breaking at this hour. a police chase through several towns coming to an end in randolph. sky 7 over the scene there. jonathan hall is live at randolph police station with the very latest. >> reporter: we just spoke to the police chief here. and we are getting a bit of information. they have a man named james joyce under arrest. he is from halifax, apparently. he may have taken fast car... take an car that he wasn't supposed to use and then took off in it. there was a police chase that ensued. this went through the towns of brockton, halifax and here in randolph. ended with a crash on route 28 with this guy losing a wheel

the car spun out and made contact with a randolph police cruiser who does have some minor damage to the front push bar. james joyce is being treated at a local hospital. apparently no, one else injured. after this pretty crazy chase. at times, reaching moderate speeds. the speeds in randolph were not high, they say. once again, a young man in his 30's named james joyce under arrest. after smashing up his chevy. we are live in randolph, jonathan hall, 7 news. >> kris: a man accused in an attack in the south end appearing in court today. this man climbed through a window and then attacked her and her roommate. nicole oliverio is in boston with the very latest. nicole? >> reporter: well, we can tell you police were able to make such a quick arrest because that suspect allegedly left a medication bottle inside the bedroom of one of the victims. two women tied up. one of them raped. when police say a complete stranger broke into their south end apartment klining in

back to sunshine. just in time for the weekend. good timing there. current temperatures outside, most spots in the low to mid-60's. 60 in boston. 62 in plourt. 62 in beverly. those low 6's out along the cape as well. a pleasant afternoon. the winds are nice and calm. they are on-shore for the most part. that is why it is a little cooler along the coast today. temperatures inland, some will get close to 70 by this afternoon. here is a look at not much to see here. nothing but sunshine today. a lot like yesterday. but we will see those changes tomorrow. so throughout the day today, not much going to change. as i mentioned. but as we head into the overnight hours, midnight tonight, starting to see the cloud cover increase. then tomorrow morning, when you wake up, we will wake up to some patchy fog, low clouds. even some drizzle for some of you. the morning commute, a little icky for tomorrow. and throughout the day, it will stay mostly cloudy.

that we will watch. and this is when we could see the second chance to see some showers, some light showers still for tomorrow. by friday, though, you notice behind that front, we are clearing things out. and the air behind that front is actually cooler. we are going to cool down as well. high pressure staying over us friday into the weekend. and it is looking like a really pleasant weekend. any plans you do have for the weekend should shape up nicely. out in the atlantic, we are watching hurricane nicole. a category two hurricane: bermuda. this is where this hurricane will impact heading into tomorrow. because of the hurricane warnings are in effect. so it will move over bermuda. probably tomorrow morning as a category two storm before it tracks northeast and out to sea. heading into the weekend, looking dry for saturday and friday as well and your sunday. today, 64-68.
