deadly nose dive. >> no situation is being ruled out. no circumstances are being ruled out. >> the pilot is raising crash questions. >> anchor: and in fact the fbi is calling the deadly connecticut plane crash an intentional act. >> anchor: the surviving flight instructor is providing key information on the moments before impact. dan hausle live in new hartford this evening. >> reporter: giving those ve some of that information the associated press indicates that there was a fight inside the cockpit a life and death struggle. the associated press reports investigators say this small plane crash in east hartford appears to be a case of suicide and not terrorism. >> information indicates that this plane crash was intentional. but i want to be crystal clear. the circumstances beyond that

>> reporter: the twin engine piper crashed on a busy street as it approached hartford's brain ard airport. the ap says the instructor told investigators his student was disgruntled about learning to be a pilot. they fought on the plane. the instructor was unable to keep the plane from going down. the instructor was able to help investigators piece together what happened. >> that is what the detective i hear through the told. >> reporter: you hear a detective was told that the pilot said it was no accident. the crash happened outside the prad and whitney plant. we saw investigators outside a hartford apartment building where it's believed the student pilot lived. with many key questions now answered the mayor says she's breathing easier. >> you feel more relaxed today?

everything gets back to normal. >> reporter: a mother of 3 young girls breathing a sigh of relief tonight. some of the wires that brought down came down on her vehicle. she was there with 3 girls in her van. they were just shaken up. they were treated and released. dan hausle 7 news. ; new developments this evening in the case of a level 3 sex offender living in weymouth home. he's moving away possibly not by choice. >> reporter: kim, that sex offender richard gardener was convicted of kidnapping and raping children in the late 1980s. he recently got out of prison and was living with his parents in weymouth. gardener is moving out of the house. gardener's probation will be supervised in suffolk county.

gardener is moving after a rock was thrown through the window of his parents house. gardener is on probation for the next 50 years after completing his prison sentence. >> anchor: also on 7 a sex offender facing chilling charges. he appeared in court in connection to an attack on the south end. 7's john cocoa has details. >> reporter: 52-year-old ronald brown walked into court wednesday accused of into a south end apartment and attacking 2 woman at 4 a.m. on tuesday. the women told police they were bound assaulted. >> charged with breaking into an apartment where 2 people were tying both of them up. >> reporter: according to the court documents brown told one of the victims quote, if you you scream i'll kill you. brown allegedly took their cell phones and laptops and took their pass words. >> i have no comment.

found a prescription medication bottle in the bedroom've one of the victims. brown is a registered sex offender. has a history of sexual assaults and break ins. >> i want to know what that person's motive and how that happened and look into security measures. >> reporter: brown was arrested at the pine street inn. and a backpack with the victim's belongings. charged with aggravated rape kidnapping and burglary. >> glad that the police worked quickly and get this guy right away and off the streets. everyone has to be careful. >> reporter: brown is held without bail. more upon charges could be filed in this case. in the south end john cocoa 7 news. >> anchor: new at 7 boston police commissioner william evans saying the 9-year-old girl shot in roxbury last weekend is

paralyzed. commissioner evans says police have video of 2 people getting out of a vehicle and firing shots into a crowd. >> anchor: a man offering a ride home is raising concern in cohasset. a ninth grade student was walking to school when a man in his early 30s driving a white van offered her a ride. the school resource officer is now investigating. >> anchor: a former new convicted of rape has a new legal team and fighting for a new trial. owen labrie convicted of sexuality and using a computer to lure a minor. emails to a 15-year-old student should have been used as evidence because they never left the school's internal server. because of that the felony computer charge should not stand. high speed chase ends with

night. christopher o dwyer was speeding through a construction zone in london dairy. police used spikes to stop that truck. tire debris along the road during the chase and the rims sparked caused several fires. odwyer crashed into the median. >> anchor: 7 news focusing on your forecast. could we be clouding up and here. chief meteorologist jeremy reiner with your first warning forecast? >> reporter: temps in the 50s. the city at 59. norwood 51. there are clouds south of new england. they work into our part of the world after midnight tonight. with us tomorrow morning. some clouds may produce patchy drizzle early tomorrow morning during the morning commute before 9 a.m. that's the cool front. that's the next weather system.

others sprits and sprinkles no big deal. not until 5 p.m. most of the day is dry. this front unlike the front on sunday will not produce that much rain. there's no hurricane to speak of. that is nicole. too far away from the eastern seaboard. as the front slides east it won't tap into the moisture like sunday's front did. so for tonight clouds on the 46 to 52. tomorrow mostly cloudy skies. tomorrow morning and tomorrow evening. the middle part of the day there will be sunshine out there not too bad. mild day mid and upper 60s. green splashes here those are the pockets of drizzle and mist. they fade away by lunch time. here comes your midday sun. here comes your cool front.
