as you can see the dive team is still here. her car remain in the pond, and several people on the shore came to this woman's rescue. >> dramatic moments in arlington after a woman accidentally drivs her ford suv into spy pond. three good samaritans jumped in. one opened the door, other pulld this 68-year-old woman from the vehicle. >> they absolutely opened up the car and got thean saving this woman's life. >> the woman was brought to shore. police and fire officials were n scene moments later. they took the woman to the hoppd with mild hypothermia. >> before she was transported, maybe some driver error, maybe a mistake between the brake and gas. >> dozens gathered to watch the divers and grateful for the efforts of the good samaritans.

it's nice to see. >> tonight all of this appears o be just an accident. up woman remains hospitalized again with some mild hypothermia and at this hour we're waiting for the dive team and these tow truck crews to pull her vehicle out of spy pond. i'm alex diprato, 7news. >> a former baby-sitter accused of kidnapping and assaulting a toddler in hamilton pleaded guilty to all charges abigail hannah broke into a home and kid mapped the girl. the toddler was found naked on the road in raleigh several mils from home with her head shaved. hannah had previously been a baby-sitter for the little girls family. >> and more breaking news, a dramatic deadly crash in hyde park. sky7 hd over that area. police say three cars involved. it happened near the american legion highway. some power lines were knocked down too. >> and there is breaking news.

order banning passengers and flight crews from bringing samsung galaxy note 7. the order goes into effect saturday at noontime. samsung recalled more than two and a half million of the smartphones and discontinued the product earlier this week. numerous fires have been reported, including one on a southwest airlines flight earlir this month. >> also on 7, both police officers shot in east boston wednesday ni surge today. officers richard cintolo and mat morse remain in critical but stable conditions. investigators are still trying o figure out why the man opened fire when officers arrived at hs home. the man of course shot and killd by police. >> investigators are looking at evidence taken out of the home. let's get to the latest with byron barnett. >> byron. >> still some activity here at the crime scene.

down there still core -- cordond off from everyone. as the investigation continues, the immediate focus is on the injured officers. >> investigators still on the scene removing several bags of d from the east boston home where two boston police officers were critically wounded wednesday night. officers rick cintolo and matt morse were back in surgery toda. the two veteran officers trying to recover from being shot multiple t critical. i would say critical to fair condition, so every day that you getaway from the incident is another positive step. >> gunfire inside the home on gladstone street. police were called there for reports of two roommates arguing over the thermostat. one claimed the other pulled out a knife. police say when officers went inside, 33-year-old kirk figueroa, who was wearing a bullet proof vest opened fire on officers cintolo and morris. figueroa was then shot and killd

had a very complicated conversation trying to figure ot what exactly could have been a motive. where this man was coming from. you know, up hasn't been established yet. >> described by some as a wanna-be cop, figueroa was a constable in boston. police say figueroa had no criminal history in massachusets but had been arrested for crimes in georgia. investigators in east boston are now trying to learn more about who figueroa was and why he opened fire on police. >> and we don't know what sparkd to investigate and talk to i'm assuming family and extended family they'll be able to get a clearer picture of actually who police officers encountered up night. >> and back here live, you can't see it, but a couple of officers just went back into the house just moments ago, so obviously they're continuing to process te scene, looking for more evidence and so forth. the boston police patrolmen's

continue to battle their wounds, please know up they appreciate and thank everyone for their support. >> that's the latest live here n east boston. i'm byron barnett, 7news. >> our team 7 coverage moves to the site of a vigil that's planned for tonight, and that's where we find tim caputo, live n east boston also for us. tim? >> yeah, adam, up shooting from two nights ago certainly hit ths community awfully hard with a lt of people over the last two days coming out in support of the boston police department and the recovery of those two officers so about an hour from now at 6:00 tonight there will be a vigil and a bit of a march starting where we are right now. and it's going to go up gladstoe street, the side street behind e all the way up to the vicinity f the madonna queen of the univere shrine. this march might get stopped a little bit, because there is still an active crime scene whee the shooting happened on wednesday night.
