77-year-old man on one of those motorcycles killed in that crash this morning. an eyewitness says two of the motorcycles were coming around this blind curve when eventually they made contact with the car and one of those motorcycles ended up right here in the guardrail, but at this point exactly how this crash happened. an horrific crash involving two motorcycles and a car that happened near the scenic park in lakeville. >> i knew something had happened because we get a lot of on this corner. >> amaka: john clapis lives right next to the park. >> my wife and i came out there. was one motorcycle on one side toward the top of the hill and the other motorcycle down on the other side of the road. >> amaka: lakeville police say when they arrive on scene, a 77-year-old man on one of the motorcycles was already dead. >> we could see one of the people was lying on the ground and he got killed. >> amaka: in addition, three others were seriously injured, all taken to area hospitals. a 74-year-old female who was

transported by medflight to rhode island hospital. the driver of a second motorcycle, 53-year-old man, and a driver of the car, a 56-year-old woman, also being treated. police haven't said exactly what caused the crash, but clapis says he's seen several accidents along this stretch. >> it's just a sad situation. it's a beautiful day, somebody gets killed, and, you know, their relatives don't know. >> amaka: now, police say they're busy here in the road. as for the names of the people involved in this crash, they have not been released yet until family is notified. we're live in lakeville tonight. amaka ubaka, 7news. >> jon:. >> john: a scary situation in revere. six people taken into custody after a tense standoff with police. kelli o'hara is live in revere. kelli?

morning, police and the people who live inside really aren't saying. >> we got woken up, and one of the policemen came up and came enter our home and upstairs and put a rifle through the window upstairs. chilly --. >> kelli: on 4:30 this morning, police asked to point their rifles through this woman's window to the neighbor's house next door. police responding after someone called 911 saying gunfire on the second floor of this francis street building. as officers investigated, the swat team was called in, locking down this neighborhood as residents were forced to hide inside. >> they didn't tell us anything, nothing. >> scary because nothing happens around here. >> kelli: you could see officers with their guns drawn enter this house. investigators at the scene tell 7news several people were taken into custody. as for the people who live here in this neighborhood, they say they're glad this is over and

they raised more than $16,000 for special olympics. >> i looked it up, to pull a firetruck, it is 5,000 pounds. they have to pull it in neutral 50 feet. >> christa: you have to have some big muscles to get it done, no question. >> nicole: all right, rob, today not a bad day if you're looking to pull a firetruck i suppose. a good day to be out and about. >> rob: if we're pulling for record highs, it will be awfully close, both tuesday and wednesday. record highs in the low to mid-80s in boston and worcester. the influence of the water might be j e from getting there in the higher elevations. worcester might be just enough. but i do think many areas in between, metro west, merrimack valley, will see low to mid-80s as we head into tuesday and wednesday. right now we've got 68 in boston. 67 in norwood. 61 current temperature in nantucket and part of the reason it's warm is the wind. winds have been out of the southwest, probably notice a little bit breezy with gusts up around 20 to 25. it will remain kind of breezy during the overnight hours and

keep temperatures very mild overnight tonight. in fact, numbers tonight would be typical for what you'd expect in the middle of the afternoon for late october. with the clouds already a couple sprinkles here on the radar in beverly in the last hour. it's part of a frontal boundary. there is the front making its way across the great lakes toward new york. normally a cold front means it's going to get colder, but this front never quite gets here. in fact, it's going to retreat before that cold air gets here. but some of the showers will. got a new now, but the bulk of the action is over here in new york. i expect we're probably done with the rain until close to midnight. now, some kind of a shower from new york actually gets here, but even then, kind of hit or miss. looks like it will fall apart on the trip. heading back to work tomorrow morning, kind of cloudy in the morning hours. can't entirely rule out a sprinkle, but the front turns around, goes back north, and as that happen, even warmer weather starts to surge back in here and that's when we're talking about record highs as we head into tuesday and wednesday.

7-3 cincinnati. right before the half, the pats pick up the tempo on offense, and it pays off. brady hits james white out of the back field and he'll take it in 15 yards for the score. pats take a 10-7 lead into halftime. the bengals get the ball to start the third quarter, and they march down the field on third and goal from the five, dalton connects with brandon lafell. the former patriot gives cincinnati a 13-10 lead. later in the quarter, hightower halts the bengals' momentum. hightower's second straight week forcing a safety and the pats were within two. after a free kick, brady to rob gronkowski. the 40-yard touchdown, brady's third of the day. gronk just fine after missing practice on friday with an illness. he was just getting started. the patriots take a 19-14 lead. they were up 25-17 in the fourth quarter. the bengals, no answer for gronk. on the play-action fake, he picks up 29 yards.
