police arrested him today after an investigation into his conversations and meetings with that underage student. >> 7's alex deprada live in new hampshire with breaking details for us. >> reporter: that teacher was arrested today. that teacher is accused of sending naked pictures and a video to a 16-year-old student. robert wily is charged. wily first began se inappropriate material last school year to the 16-year-old who was in his english class at merrimac high school. it continued this year when the girl was in his philosophy class. he requested the girl send images of herself according to police. the investigation began when the girl's mother discovered pictures and videos. >> it's shocking. but everything's been shocking this year. doesn't surprise me.

and when you think of it from a father's stand point for something like that. that infuriates me. words can't even explain that. >> reporter: merrimac schools released this statement we want to assure the community we have cooperated fully with police who have handled this investigation. working with our staff to provide counseling services to students who need it. wily has been a merrimac for 37 years. he handed in his resignation today and is out on $20,000 bond. live in merrimac new hampshire. >> anchor: breaking news we're following right now. boston preese police tweeting out these pictures of a person of interest. a toddler was injured in that shooting. this man was spotted leaving the scene right after those shots were fired.

scooter. detectives say the shots were fired around 4:00 saturday afternoon. a 2-year-old boy was injured in that shooting. he is expected to be okay. >> anchor: an update on the 2 officers shot in east boston. it is good news. doctors upgraded the condition of those 2 officers from critical to stable today. officers centolo and matt morris have been recovering at the hospital since last week when responding to a domestic call. the boston police department tweeting out this quote from commissioner evans this afternoon. says just left the hospital. both guys doing better. it appears somebody upstairs is listening to all our prayers. ; a fire breaks out on a bus in brain tree. smoke pouring from that bus earlier this afternoon. this happened right outside south shore plaza.

police say what happened here including that 911 call is all under investigation. in revere steve cooper 7 news. >> anchor: a mother and children rushed to the hospital after hit by a car in hop kington. now the father of one of the victims is speaking out about what turned out to be a dangerous drive. >> i'm sickened. i'm absolutely sickened. >> anytime ther >> anchor: over the scene of a horrific car crash in hopkinton earlier. a pregnant mother and 2 children rushed to the hospital after injured in this wreck. the baby carriage stuck under one of the cars involved in this crash. 2 moms and children were crossing this street taking kids to the park. another car ran into them.
