>> reporter: the woman who is being evaluated at the hopital is facing multiple criminal charges including reckless conduct here. in candiac new hampshire, steve cooper, 7 news. >> ryan: a suspect on the run after stealing a car with a 9-month-old baby girl inside. the car was stolen from a business in dorchester last night. police found the car in west roxbury. the child is okay. the suspect still at lar investigating a shooting in dorchester. it happened on wells avenue. a woman heard 10-12 shots. one person was to into the hospital. >> reporter: an mbta bus hits an apartment building in south boston. you can see last night, the boston got stuck under the awning. no one was hurt. there is no word on the cause of the crash. >> anchor: a dozen officers are under investigation after being accused of a brutal beating at a bar in springfield. four men claimed a group of

them using a baton and stun gun outside of nathan's bar and restaurant in springfield last year. an attorney general for the iledged victims says the fight started when one of the man whistled at a female bartender who may have been an officers' girl friend. the springfield police department says the incident is under investigation. >> ryan: two kentucky teenagers found themself in a life or death situation over the weekend. while they were out for a drive another driver lost control and crashed into a classmate. the two teenagers jumped into action to save their lives. two high school students come through in heroic fashion when they find themselves in a life or death separation. >> it surprised me what i did. i didn't think i would do it. >> reporter: bread and bratly were driving when a speeding car tried to pass them from behind. >> he started fishtailing. >> reporter: the driver lost control and crashed into the tree.

not for their brave actions they won't be here. >> i was going to get them out one way or another. >> we have a little about the of strength in all of you. you have to be able to find it. >> reporter: the teen who was driving has a lung injury but he is already back at school. >> a truck driver in florida drove off a bridge. the box truck ended up in the water after the driver somehow last control. the driver got out safely, crews spent hours finding a way to pul t the water. they used cranes to pull it back on to the road. >> ryan: a bus driver crashes into a home in texas. police say the driver tried to avoid a collision after another car didn't stop. this is when the bus slammed into the house. no passengers were on the bus at the time. there was one person inside the home. he says he made it out just in time. >> anchor: an 11-year-old girl in florida leads police on a car chase. the girl ales mom said she gave her daughter the car

got in the car and sped off. policeshot -- spotted her at a nearby intersection but they didn't stop for another ten miles when she crashed in a car. >> next thing i see i see police lights coming and then a car coming towards me and the car was being chased by police officers. that is how the hit happened itself. >> anchor: the girl was taken to the hospital to get checked out. she will be charged with driving without a license and trying to escape police. animal abuse. a woman spotted a dog covered in duct shape. she stopped to help the dog who was likely left for dead. >> it was like there is a dog. i looked an there was a dog in between all the trash with duct tape on the head. laying there. it was bleeding. >> it was very bad situation when a dog is done in this manner or any animal. >> ryan: activists arrived there to assist and they

the dog had to be put down because of the exaccident of her injuries. >> a pet store in texas targeted by thieves. video shows them breaking into the store making off with puppies world thousands of dollars and authorities are trying to track them down. christa del camp has the story. >> reporter: over the weekend a pet store in houston tarted by thieves. >> they're one of our most expensive dogs. >> reporter: owner came in to find a busted door and these six puppies, english bulldogs and two french bulldogs all missing about $25,000 -- >> they know it's quick money. they can hardly sell it for anything,. >> reporter: surveillance shows the thieves pulling up in a white pickup then two pry their way into the store and start ran saking the place. >> reporter: it took about ten minutes to get the puppies out and the truck to leave but she is worried about their wellbeing.

back in the merrimack valley going to be a milder day for you folks. mix of clouds and sunshine. again these are afternoon temperature, tomorrow morning it could still be cloudy up until about 10:00, 11:00. fitchburg 76. mashpee at 75. edgartown at 71. records, no, it's a nice mild day. mid and upper 70s but the records tomorrow are in the low to mid 80s, thursday mostly cloudy sky. i think a scattering of showers. with thursday back down to the low 60s, here comes another warm front. yesterday i thought a warm front would move through. this is not going to make it through. more confident that we're in the 60s on thursday, then as we work into friday here comes another area of low pressure. that is going to grab some moisture off the atlantic as well as pennsylvania and put it up to southern new england with beneficial rain. so thursday, scattered showers, friday about an 80% chance of showers and perhaps even a few downpours
