>> anchor: right now grief counselors are on hand at a new hampshire high school. they are offering support to students coping with the loss of their classmate who police say was swept down a storm drain. the 16-year-old boy was pulled from the merrimack river over the weekend after he disappeared on friday. >> anchor: police believe he fell into the dane during that heavy ran on friday. dan hausle live in nashua where there is now >> reporter: a lot of jake ob's classmates and friends gathering now around that growing memorial and a ground that storm drain which is where he was last believed to have been when he disappeared and this at a time when city officials are vowing to take measures to try to make sure whatever happened doesn't happen again. friends and strangers stopped by the now sealed storm drain where jake on goullet swept into the

sunday. jesse said classmates are sheaing pictures and medical or ease of jacob on-line. when i found out i thought this had to be fake. when i watched the news i was crying. i couldn't believe this happened. >> reporter: investigators found surveillance video showing jacob walking in the area with a hat and umbrella. police got a call friday night that the cover was off the storm drain and jake ob's hat and umbrella were right near the open hole. the sad mystery brought many here wondering what coul happened. a 16-year-old kid loses his life because a storm drain pops off. how come they all didn't pop off? i know they had a lot of rain. that could be why. maybe it was forced up. i have no idea. it's a strange story spot tragedy hing hard at nashua north high where jacob went to school. it's very somber. i was there with one of the assistant principals as kids came in. some kids were visibly distressed. those kids we immediately matched up with counseling and support as they went into the

>> anchor: late this afternoon the nashua mayor's office released a statement saying the storm drain covers that are now aluminum will be covered with heavier storm drain covers and be bolted down with tamper resistant bolts and urging anyone who knows of any open grates, any open drains, to give city hall a call. live in nashua, new hampshire, dan hausle, 7 news. >> anchor: an mbta bus driver assault in burlington over the weekend. the suspect identified as daniel coolic said he wanted to get that he couldn't let anyone off between those assigned stops. so police say he was angry and broke the doors and windows of the bus and then grabbed the bus driver around the neck who later returned to the scene for his forgotten cell phone and that's when he was arrested. >> anchor: dress code drama causing more controversy at boston latin. more than 500 students signed an on-line petition protesting the new dress code that bans several things including spaghetti straps and gang related clothing

students and minorities. the school plans to enforce the new dress code next week. two construction workers killed during a watermain break and trench collapse in boston will be honored at the statehouse. officials say robert higgins and kevin maddox will be remembered during a commemoration there next april them were killed when a watermain broke and filled a trench they were working on friday afternoon. >> anchor: a one of a kind event drawing dozens of women in rhode island and this was the yoga participants walking to protest body shaming and pat of their mission is to dress down. someone who said they shouldn't be wearing those tight pants. sara french reports. stripes and solids all shapes and sizes. sunday afternoon's yoga pants parade drew dozens of men and women out to the streets. it was just positive, made me smile. everyone had smiles on their faces. struck a nerve, this election season but it's really positive, it's a positive event and positive day.

editor in a local newspaper criticizing women of a certain age for wearing the form fitting work out attire. organizers jimmy burke said the large turn out sends a powerful message. it speaks to the need for us to stand up for our rights to wear what we want. carrying signs and banners, the crowd made their way past the home of the man who wrote th he says it was only meant to be a joke and the parade was stressful and intimidating. but those who came out for the walk say it turned what they saw as negative commentary into a positive community event. it's about women wearing what they choose to wear and everybody being respectful of the yoga pants air symbol. i think it's a take on society today and decorum in our

jonathan hall, 7 news. >> anchor: the ex-wife of former subway pitchman jared foggle. she said subway continued to promote her husband. she is filing a lawsuit against subway today and allege the company allowed jr to spend time promoting in elementary schools. >> anchor: an rv filled with marijuana candy went new flames in delaware on sunday. the company weed world candies confirm it was one promotional rv's. police say the rv was headed to philadelphia when it caught fire sending flames and smoke into the air. the rv and contents were a total loss but the five people inside the vehicle were able to escape safely. five people are now dead after a house fire in demartin luther king junior, georgia sunday. you can see the massive fire ball burning through the trees. the fire was so intense fire fighters were forced to fight those flames from the outside.

neighbor shows a fire so bright all you can see through the trees is light in the place where a house should be. it was a pretty intense fire when the call came in. >> reporter: besides the big flames, their path to the house was also blocked by sparking wires. fire fighters did say from was an arc in the electrical line that was on the right side of the home that was one challenge. once flames were out. fire fighters found bodies of time people. no one who was inside survived. and neighbors said there was a pro rain pain tank exploded. it sounded like gun shots. they were less a baking and you can hear cracks. she says the family had a bonfire going in the pit behind their house last night. it is something they have done before and she says there has never been any problems. when you go to bed, you pour water on your fire to try to eliminate the coles. >> reporter: while investigators are looking at these accidental causes until they know for sure, police are ready to step in at any moment. in the event that it does

out how that driver ended up on the wrong side of the highway. steve cooper in middleborough the with latest. wrong way crash, car on fire. that was the radio call that sent emergency responders cram bling to 495 in the middle of night. the end result of a wrong way driver. the crash this morning was caused by the wrong way operator traveling southbound in the northbound lane. >> anchor: rescue crews arrive it say a woman driving south on the northbound lanes of 495 and middleborough slams head on into another car with four people inside that burst into flames on impact. all five people were pronounced dead at the scene. there was nothing we could do at the time. there was so much fire involved in the one vehicle. both cars including the mercury sable with the four victims are transformed into piles of twisted metal. state police say the driver who was hit head on never had a
