>> chaos at the orange line. this is the afternoon commute and that is when a fire broke out. we had video again from the 7news viewer. you will be able to see people kicking outdoors and windows trying to get out. the boston fire department tells 7news that there was either an overheated motor or trash on the fire -- trash on the line simultaneously that smoke and these people to panic and try to get out of this orange line train that was heading inbound into boston. the fire department tells us that you have been -- there have been about five injuries. several of them passengers treated on the scene for smoke inhalation including one t police officer. all are expected to be okay. all treated here on the scene. at this hour, the orange line in this area is not running but

running. the commuter line runs through the back bay and say that continues to run at this hour. a fire from an overheated motor or there was trash on the line that erupted in flames caused this smoke and for these people obviously in a confined space, to panic to try to get out of this area. again, five people injured, slightly, with smoke inhalation including a t police officer. all are expected to be and the orange line, they're working to get it up and running at this hour. live in boston, i'm alex depratto 7news. an suv slams into a building on grope street. the driver and female passenger rushed to the hospital but witnesses say it may appear to be okay. a tow truck is on the scene to remove that from the wallet. more breaks news, this out

crashes into a home on lorraina drive. sky 7 hd over the scene. you can see the damage done to what appears to be the garage of the house. the company that owns that truck says no one was hurt. police say he was arrested earlier this year. the suspect >> now he's in trouble with the law and on a hunger strike.

collapses in the federal courtroom at the conclusion of his initial experience. >> it looked to me like he sort of tripped up on his leg. or ankle, ankle cuffs, whatever you call them, and then he just couldn't hold himself up and collapsed to the floor. >> reporter: the 32-year-old allegedly hacked the web sites of children's hospital and residential treatment center for teens in framingham in 2014 costing those facilities more $300,000. his indictment says godsfeld targeted the industry. online he says he hacked children to defend justina pelt tear, the connecticut teen who's claiming she was kept there without her family's permission at the time the state of massachusetts had custody of her. >> imagine being in a psych ward without needing to be in a psych ward. >> reporter: he's been on a hunger strike for more than three weeks and came into court and told his 25 and a half pounds, i love you, baby. >> he really cares about protecting kids.

was found in the woods behind homes on pleasant street around noon. she disappeared sunday afternoon and exposed to the elements for days. the 75-year-old was taken to the hospital. at harvard university they voted to pay its full-time dining workers at least $35,000 a year under a new contract. comes after weeks of protests and strikes that closed several dining halls all across campus. members will vote to approve the contract and dining service employees could be coming bk morning. we're following more news today. a massive manhunt intensifying in oklahoma for an alleged killer. michael dell vance has been tawbilityding police with online posts. police say he killed two people and injured four others including two police officers. police say vance began his crime spree sunday night in a town east of oklahoma city and that's when he allegedly opened fire on two officers, shooting them before taking off in a patrol car. now, this is the scene from a mobile home.
