that suv slammed right into a wall that was holding up a pantry. you can see now what is left behind here at this hour. and we do understand that no one was here at the time in that house, which is the good news heres. fire 15s tell us they believe the suv was involved in some kind of a hit and run maybe near cambridge street, and then drove up on grove street all the way to the end, right before witnesses say the suv was speeding, some say they were going about 70 miles per hour when it hit this hall -- this wall here at the home. and then all of these bricks began to fall. now both the driver and the passenger that were in that suv were taken by ambulance. we were told that they were both alert and conscious. >> i seen a white car flying up here. flying up here, doing like 70 with no brakes. smack into the wall. >> so it wasn't as if they were trying to get into a garage, it

something. >> when we first got here, there were two people within the vehicle that was actually against the structure over there. the people were conscious and alert. they were able to remove them from the vehicle. i really don't know what happened preceding that. i understand it was coming up the street at a high rate of speed and may have been a hit and run or something down on cambridge street. >> back out here live again, looking at the scene, you can see there's a big gaping hole. that was a wall holding up a ry that suv has been removed, and fire officials tell us when they removed that, the wall was actually sort of neighboring a garage. it started to collapse a little bit on the garage. there was a car there that sustained some damage. that's about to the extent of it. they have taken the suv away and are investigating at this hour. kimberly bookman, 7news. and there's breaking news in win chest they are evening, as well. another damaging drive. investigators saying a box truck
