6:12 pm
dear fellow citizen, time spent with my son really makes me appreciate "the now". but i also have to plan for my family's future. and that means taking on debt. in a smart way. like my mortgage - it's working for me. and if he needs a college loan down the road, that'll be worth it too. it's all about having a strategy, that fits your life. so, if you have a question
6:13 pm
>> anchor: breaking news oh hollywood, florida. this is fed ex plane that's had an incident at the fort lauderdale hollywood international airport. you can see that plane is covered in foam and if you look at the right wing it looks to be in tact but if you like at the left wing, it's a little blurry. this comes literally hours after a plane at wheel came off a plane and the engine causing a big fire there. no active fire here in florida but fire crews surrounding foam is down, no word on injuries right now for this fed ex cargo plane but we'll continue to watch i'ms and keep you posted as we get new information. >> anchor: also on 7, a sound sign for a lynn couple expecting a baby girl. can you see what's happening in
6:14 pm
so it seem. mom and dad just found out that their graphy baby is a girl. >> anchor: the peaceful message was an unexpected bonus for them it. happened while the expecting mom was getting her 18 week ultrasound during that procedure. the nurse was snapping photographs to try to determine the baby's gender. that's when the camera captured the peace sign. they love it. absolutely love the picture. they were like you have to frame that. you have to put it in like the nursery or your house. justov i figured this was like one and done basically. who knows. maybe she will keep doing it. i don't know. you heard from. mo. dad says it was most certainly a coincidence that she gave the peace sign during the ultrasound but says he hopes it's a good sign of things to come. >> anchor: that's how i would like at it. >> anchor: that's the first thought that came into my mind when i reported the story university just peace, right? peace sounds good. >> anchor: so does a dry weekend. peace, love, rock and roll
6:15 pm
6:17 pm
>> anchor: the november weather out of here for the weekend although the clouds will hang around and will may be a few raindrops tomorrow afternoon and been on sunday afternoon. at least it won't be cool an raw. here is your chance of rain over the week.
6:18 pm
shower and sunday much of the same where the front part of the day is dry and then a 40% chance of some showers mid to late afternoon on sunday but most of the weekend is dry and milder. temperatures both weekend days in the 50's. right now rain is beginning to fade away. there are still pockets of drizzle north and south shore, even in here in the city of boston and then another batch out through metrowest 495 belt from this storm system that walloped us with some beneficial rain. again, a lot rain once again from this weather system between one and two over two inches here in the city of boston over an inform of rain and for the month of october boston has picked up over five inches of rain. now for the entire summer june, july, august, we didn't even pick up four inches of rain so more rain in the last 28 days in the city then all summer long and this will be our first month that features above normal rainfall since february. the priss to pay though is that it's a cold, raw wind. we have wind advisory in effect
6:19 pm
and islands. havory in effect in boston but still windy out there. northwest winds gusting around 30 miles per hour. the drizzle fades away this evening and as the storm gets farther away from new england that wind will begin to settle down as well overnight tonight and already on its heels is another storm system here slicing through the great lake states. it will carve out a similar path but much weaker. so not like we're going to go through this all over again. but a last clouds tomorrow afternoon and as this weather system is passing southern new england it may pop off an isolated shower or sprinkle and then it slows down on sunday. so sunday we have morning sun, clouds in the afternoon. some of these showers and pennsylvania come at us very late in the i did on sunday and sunday evening with w begin just an isolated shower then halloween we're talking lots of sunshine. just dandy. temperatures tomorrow and again on sunday mid and upper 50's and again the front part of each day is dry with partly sunny skies. 7 on 7 forecast monday mostly
6:20 pm

6:21 pm
blount and patriots running a take. the bills defense 27th in the league against the run this season allowing 125 yards rushing for game, chelsea mcdonald as more on sunday's rematch in orchard park. the patriots offense is thriving with tom brady back under center. but one of his weapons, tight end march tell bennett, didn't practice friday because of an ankle injury and he is questionable for sunday. a guy whose making progress dion lewis, he practiced for the second executive day. he has en things with training staff for a long time so the next step. >> reporter: pats are facing a depleted bills offense. march keys goodwin is out and mccoy is doubtful. not many weapons for tie rod taylor but he is good with his feet leading all nfl quarterbacks with 271 rushing yards. it's not easy because he is so quick and you know can get out of the expect and he is athletic so it's kind of a group effort there.
6:22 pm
division rival has swept new england but the patriots aren't thinking about that. you can't worry about anybody else, this team and what they are doing. we just work hard here and just try to heap to win the division like we always do. odds makers have the patriots winning the super bowl and even president barack obama is picking the patriots to take home the lombardi drove. in a radio interview earlier this morning he preprodicked a rematch between the sea hawks and patriots. reporting at ll chelsea mcdonald, 7 sports. >> anchor: thank you, chelsea. for the first time sincelying bruins to a win in their home opener last thursday tukka rask is back this morning and will accompany the team on its three game road trip. the bruins is aing net mines or reportedly dealing with hamstring and groin injuries and will not be rushed back into game action. i think a little more cautious now with it because i injured myself about four years ago and then missed two or three months because of an injury.
6:23 pm
force it and then be off too much. >> anchor: bruins set to open their road trip in detroit tomorrow night doing so without david foster knack. the department of player safety suspending the bruins leading goal scorer two games without pay for an illegal check to the head of the rangers dan girardi during wednesday night's loss in new york. >> anchor: pittsburgh hosting virginia tech hokeys up three in the fourth quarter and adding to it gerard evans throwing the fade to isaiah ford twisting around and making a great dive and catch right in front of the pile on. ford setting his record with 23 career touchdown and tagging home our play of the day. the fall classic resuming tonight in chicago with wrigley field set to host its first world series game in 71 years. that's it for sports.
