>> now at 7:00 2 breaking stories. first passengers scramble to safety as smoke and fire pour from a plane in chicago. >> anchor: the fbi turning up the heat on hillary clinton. >> hillary clinton's corruption is on a scale we have never seen befo to capitalize in new hampshire. >> reporter: the big storm moves away. a milder weekend. >> reporter: a man accused of flashing girls in brookline. police with a warning to neighbors. >> anchor: also the patriots looking to set the tone in buffalo. it's a rematch with rex ryan. >> anchor: and a groovy photo that's going viral. an ultra sound that will make you smile.

>> anchor: a plane ignites at chicago's o hair airport. intense flames and thick smoke billowing from that plane. everyone on board got off safely. >> anchor: luckily it hadn't taken off yet. ryan schulteis live in our newsroom with the latest. >> reporter: american airlines flight 383 was going down the run way ready for take off to miami. that engine caught fire. black smoke filling you see the plume of smoke in this video here. 9 crew members. the airline confirming everyone got off the plane safely. people inside the plane evacuating on emergency slides. huge flames shooting out the other side of the plane. people rush out. 7 passengers. one flight attendant did suffer minor injuries. a burn mark is visible on the side of the plane.

one of the survivors said it's amazing everyone got out safely. >> i was sitting in seat 31 e in the middle section of the plane. we started to take off. we didn't get in the air. and seemed like the right side engine blew. big blob of fire. everybody was professional. the pilot stopped the plane perfect. we started exiting. it was a coordinated chaos. it was unbelievable how we got of >> anchor: once everyone got off the plane buses arrived to bring people back to the terminal. the airline hopes to have passengers rescheduled for a flight later this evening. in the newsroom ryan schulteis breaking news. ; another fire breaking out in ft. lauderdale florida. you can see there's foam on the ground around that air craft. fire crews rushed to put out the

and the engines on the ground. the wing appear to gone. the plane just landed coming in from tenessee when landing gear collapsed and caught on fire. the engine separated from the rest of the plane. that left wing heavily heavily damaged. ft. lauderdale hollywood international airport was shut down today. no injuries were reported. >> anchor: following breaking news on the campaign trail. the fbi reviewing investigation of hillary clinton's email server. those emails uncovered during an investigation of anthony weiner. >> anchor: 11 days until the election. tim caputo begins our team 7 coverage of this breaking story. >> reporter: a scandal that won't go away from hillary clinton. while working on another investigation. a week and a half until election day and hillary clinton's emails

light. fbi director james comey sent a letter to congress today stating that new emails come to light recently that prompted investigators to take another look at hillary clinton's use of a private email server while secretary of state. the new emails were found on a laptop of anthony weiner. weener allegedly sent to a 15-year-old girl in north carolina. for the release of the emails. director's comey's letter refers to emails in an unrelated case. the director himself knows they may not be significant. clinton arrived in iowa. she didn't mention the new probe. she focussed her message in getting out the vote. >> donald trump says he can still win and he's right.

unusual election. >> reporter: nbc news reports there are likely thousands of emails to examine. there's no reason to believe anyone was with holding anything. clinton's campaign calling the timing of this extraordinary. >> it boggles the mind why the step was taken with 11 days to go. >> anchor: hillary clinton addressing this latest email scandal. >> sent or received. >> we have anyone. first we knew about it is i assume when you knew about it. when this letter sent to republican members of the house was released. so we don't know the facts which is why we are calling on the fbi to release all the information that it has. even director comey noted that this new information may not be significant. so let's get it out.

police have many officers investigating both of these cases hoping to catch a suspect. police stepping up patrols in brookline after they say a man exposed himself to 3 elementary kids in ward park and brookline village. the girls were on the way to an after school much event when they walked by a silver gray car with the passenger side doors open. >> as they got closer the male was naked and fondling himself. >> reporter: a man exposed himself to 3 middle school aged kids near brookline high school. >> the male actually got out of the vehicle with no pants on and walked to the passenger side and -- and the females walked by. >> reporter: police don't know for sure if these incidents are related. they both involved a silver gray

look at the rain fall tallies with the term. 1 to 2 inches of beneficial rain. another round of beneficial rain here in the month of october. this is for the city of boston. over 5 inches of rain. look at the summer rain fall june, july, august less than that. this is the first time since february where boston has above normal precipitation. drought not over. the wind the other aspect of the storm during the day. at times between 25 and 40 miles an hour. a gust of 47. worcester hills metro west the city of boston gusting 25 to 30 miles an hour. that will shut down the wind. here is already though our next storm system on the maps. this will make a b line for the northeast. a similar path to the one we're dealing with now. much weaker.
