the plague. >> yes, it's awful. it's an awful disaster having central avenue out and this bridge out. >> tim: it's rare to have an entire highway closed down in both directions, but as workers tear down the bridge that's over the highway, it's their only option. most people we spoke with knew this weekend would be a mess over here, so they'll try to avoid the area. others who have to be here are planning ahead. >> i have to drop my son off around the corner for work tomorrow, so i don't know with elliot bridge being closed and this being closed, i don't know how i'm going to get him there. >> tim: are you planning for tons of extra time? >> tons of extra time. i'll probably leave at least 45 minutes to an hour early. >> tim: live out here now, construction trucks are on the highway. you see traffic moving up the exit ramp and then back down the entrance ramp the get back on to 128. that's what they're doing now as they work on the northbound side. the bridge covering that portion of the road, the other side they'll get working on, on saturday evening.

that's your better bet. 43 in boston. 33 in norwood. currently on the cool side. 30 in jaffrey. 34 in fitchburg. and part of the reason is whef you get clear skies and calm winds, temperatures just tumble as soon as the sun sets. that's the case. winds are a lot lighter now than they were earlier in the day when we were getting guests of 20 to 25mph. skies are fairly clear. we're kind of in between two systems. there's the front that brought us a little rain and the cloud cover yesterday. maker. another little weak frontal boundary just making it into new york. with that, you do see a few clouds and a few sprinkles. so that will bring the clouds back into here as we head enter tomorrow. so tomorrow won't be quite as bright and sunny as it was out there today. maybe not as dry. the green areas will be areas likely to see rain. this is not a washout by any means. just a sprinkle or two here or. there really not expecting any measurable rain whatsoever. don't let this slight chance for
11:19 pm
overall the day looks pretty good. evening hours i think will be dry. best chance for any sprinkles, if we see them at all. would be in the morning into the early afternoon hours. little different on sunday. the breeze comes back. breezy today. it will be calm tomorrow. and then breezy again on sunday. sunday the winds will be out of the north-northwest, and that cold wind blowing across the still relatively warm water could lead to some ocean-effect sprinkles, primarily for the cape on sunday. but again, other than that, is just a little cooler than average. don't forget. set your clocks back one hour, saturday might into sunday. that means this weekend is one hour longer than every other weekend of the year. that's the upside. the doesn't side is sun sets just after 4:30 sunday afternoon. 54 on monday. low to mid-60s on tuesday. cools off just a bit for wednesday. and then we're already back into the 60s for thursday. looking ahead to veterans day, not bad. mid to upper 50 was partly sunny
