protesters taken way in handcuffs by boston police thursday morning after chaining themselves to the doors of a td bank in downtown crossing. four activists were arrested for blocking access to the bank. two locked their necks together. two more used reinforced pvc pips to lock arms. they're demonstrates against the construction of the dakota access pipeline on a native-american reservation in north dakota. >> what we are asking is for them to divest fossil fuels belong in the ground, pipelines aren't necessary, but at this point more the profound disrespect. >> reporter: td bank extended credit to the pipeline. protesters are calling for the bank to cancel the loan. >> i was just going to add that at this point, it's equally about the treatment of the standing rock sioux. >> reporter: they were charged with disturbing the peace and

7 news up. a brock brookline animal hospital evacuated of after a hazardous scare. they felt dizzy and nauseous. they showed up to check out gas or odor leak. >> we found very low levels of some acceptable substances normally found in the hospital. other than that, the building was cleared to be reoccupied. >> 12 employees in total got sick, b the hospital. they were checked out by medics there and are all okay. also on 7, the cdc is investigating a patient at the state's largest hospital who may have contracted a rare and deadly bacterial disease called preon disease. they have postponed surgical procedures to sterilize equipment and areas. they say it usually progresses

stabbing a classmate in the school cafeteria on wednesday morning. they say the victim was stabbed in the leg and was taken to the hospital. police in rochester are looking for the driver they say hit a pedestrian before leaving the area. officers say the accident happened on betts road last night. according to investigators, the 26-year-old victim was taken to frisbee memorial hospital. he's expected to be okay. road rage caught on camera. ahead, what caused this tense moment in florida. is on for a car wanted in connection with with a crash. a stabbing and carjacking in connecticut where police say they might have seen the car in massachusetts. president-elect donald trump meeting with president obama for the first time. we have more on how the meeting went at the white house. fios is not cable. we're wired differently. that means incredibly fast 150 meg internet for the holidays.

attack knocking a motorcyclist off his bike. he was arrested by police in florida. >> now he speaks out about what happened and says there's more to the sorry. cruising through the streets of miami, a motorcyclist is recording when all of a sudden he's attacked by a motorist. >> what? >> now kevin is defending the violence. >> i have anger i'm cuban. >> it started on a post on instagram about a girl. >> she went and told her boyfriend i was trying to get at her just because i told her we don't need to be talking. >> from there a heated exchange of messages that kevin says escalated into threats. >> he said he could have my motorcycle stolen and thrown in the miami river. >> the 19-year-old driver of the motorcycle didn't want to talk about the altercation, but he made clear he's never met his attacker, not until he was knocked off the bike. >> i already told him to come

two weekend days. sun went down this afternoon just moments ago at 4:26. two weeks from today is thanksgiving. sunset at 4:16 and four weeks from today our earliest sunset will show up at 4:12. winter is coming whether you like it or not. the winter solstice is 40 days away and christmas is 44 days away. again, thanksgiving is a couple of of weeks away. not a lot of cold air. you could make the case these temps up here certainly seem cold, but for them it'sea in fact, at or slightly above normal. winnipeg is mild and 55. we have a cold front on the way for friday night and saturday. it's fleeting cold. it's nothing that can really establish a cold pattern or a cold that locks in for several days. we have the cold fronts that zip along the u.s.-canadian border. the other thing about the pattern right now, we're into a dry pattern. werp doing good eating up the drought in september and october

the difference compared to several months ago, water usage not like it is in july and august, and the evaporation rates, the sun is not as intense in july and august. at least what water is in the ground, it's not pulled out of the ground. boston and worcester and meramec valley. these droughts take several months to get into the situation, and it takes time to work out. we don't have any significant rain the next four or five days. there may be rain that us tuesday of next month for the month of november running about an inch below normal. we stay dry for a few days. 52 in town right now. norwood at 53, bedford at 50 degrees. a few clouds moving in from northern new york and new england. otherwise mostly clear and not as chilly. through the dame tomorrow mostly sunny skies and it's a windy day tomorrow. northwest winds 15 to 30 miles per hour. temps, again, initially they
