i'm byron barnett, 7 news. >> sarah: turning now to a wild multi-state police chase. officers say a couple stole two cars and attacked two women as they tried to get away from police. nicole oliverio spoke who one of the alleged car-jacking victims. she joins us live from worcester with the latest. >> reporter: sarah, that woman is now recovering. this wild ride all came to an end in worcester. >> you take a look. the suspect hitting that blue crv that is in that neighbor's driveway. the woman car-jacked tells us she was in connecticut just over the massachusetts border with her mother when she noticed that a couple had crashed their car into a tree. she slowed down, thinking they needed help. that is when they attacked. >> i'm nine staples here. >> reporter: barbie mccoy showing off stab wounds she suffered while being car-jacked. >> he swung the door open. i don't remember him saying anything. i just remember him coming at

a passer-by reported this video of a deer rushing through an american eagle clothing store. this is on thursday. the animal jumped straight through that glas. it is not known how badly the deer was injured or how he managed to enter the store in the first place. >> nancy: in florida, two eagles make a great escape. both were trapped in a drain cover. this all started with a fight over territory. >> sarah: it ended with both birds in a pretty tight spot. >> reporter: it was a startling sight. two symbols of america, bald eagles, stuck in a florida storm drain. roads were shut down during rush hour as crews worked to rescue them. at first, some thought the eagle on top was protecting the other one. experts say that is not even close to what happened. they say it is nesting season. they think the eagles got into a fight when one of them got into the other bird's territory. >> they can get into a territory fight. they lock.

being hurt or anything like that. >> reporter: the state department of children and families says it too is involved in this case. >> sarah: right now a bus driver under investigation. he was involved in an accident with passengers onboard, then just took off. 7's victoria warren has a closer look. passengers on this m.b.t.a. bus calling 911 after police say the driver crashed into a parked car and just kept going. that crash happened in melrose. in this surveillance video, you can see when police caught up to the bus in stoneham. police now investigating to see if the driver was under the influence of prescription drugs. sky 7 over the scene. the 12 people who were on the bus safely got off. none of them were hurt. they got on another waiting bus while transit police continued investigating. the m.b.t.a. says the drivers worked for them for 12 years. he is now accused of leaving the scene of an accident. the damage to the parked car in melrose described as minor.

this man will not be driving a bus. he will be summonsed to court. in melrose, 7 news. >> nancy: a judge ruling that statements a woman made to police can be used in her manslaughter trial. michelle carter encouraged her friend to commit suicide. also the couple who filed a wrongful death lat the death of their one-year-old baby being awarded $4 million. they say their irish nanny is responsible for the child's death back in 2013. a murder charge was dropped against ashley brady mccarthy last year aftera medical examiner ruled the baby's cause of depth as undetermined. the couple's lawyer says the nanny doesn't have that money but they don't want her to profit from a possible book or movie deal. >> sarah: happening now: veterans being honored for their service.
