surrounding the murder of glora bell aringo. >> no (bell) my best friend. >> charging her with assault and battery. >> reporter: emily perez of worcester pleads not guilty in connection with the death of the 44-year-old victim. who prosecutors say was not only beaten to death saturday night she was run over by a car that took off from the scene. her 28-year-old down who had down syndrome was with her at the time. >> the individuals that vehicle had fled reaching speeds of 130 miles per hour. >> reporter: prosecutors say that car which was reported stolen crashed into this house in northborough after a chase with police. everyone in the car took off. perez was arrested yesterday at her mother's home in lowell. her lawyer says it was the

here. >> we have no autopsy reports yet not unsurprisingly to indicate the reason why this person died. >> reporter: family just wants justice for this mother of 4 and grandmother to 3. >> i want the boys the girls all of them arrested everybody. >> reporter: bail for perez was set at $30,000. police say they are searching for several other suspects connected to this murder. >> anchor: a boston police transit officer hit by a car while on his motorcycle. the crash happened just after 5:00 tonight in the intersection of warren and towns end streets. the officer is expected to be okay. the cause of the crash is under investigation. maintenance work at a local ski resort takes a tragic turn. a man was killed after he was run over by a piece of snow

he was an employee from towns end. he was found dead 9:30 this morning. detectives do not believe his death is suspicious. so far few details and the ski resort has not comment. >> reporter: parents are demanding answers from the renaissance charter school in hyde park. the school held a meeting with students parents addressing the matter. the mother of a 7-year-old student said another student touched her son threatened him with violence. parents are calling for more oversight. >> we need monitors on the boston public school buses. the only way we could do that is us as parents need to advocate for it to boston city hall. >> anchor: not part of the boston public school system. bps provides transportation for the school.

that midwest weather system moves into new england while weakening. this is not a major event. not going to slow you down. maybe grandma's coming to your house. let her relax this year. you do the cooking. patchy snow and flurries in new england for thursday morning. the high school football games. you notice by noon that narrow band of snow flurry activity kind of a chilly raw day no wind. we don't have to worry about wintry precipitation. we will see pockets of drizzle form thursday night. thursday morning snow yeah, it will be patchy. not to say that everyone here shaded in the white and the blue is going to see snow. where you have the pockets of snow occurring a coating in the
