surfaces overnight tonight like we were the last couple nights. maybe some isolated light showers and make their way in and then tomorrow we do have some more wet weather in store for us although it's light showers, south and east, more likely to see that some of us stay dry tomorrow and get some peeks of sunshine. 42 to 50 degrees. the bigger picture of the weekend showing even more sun on the way appropriately for sunday and we've got breezy conditions that day as well. wet weather holds off until we hit the middle ex come in just a few minutes. everyone is dealing with bumps and browses so part of football. >> anchor: bumps and bruises is how tom brady explained his absence from practice the last couple days. was the first time in six years that he has missed become to back practices. the pats quarterback did return to the field today but till unclear if he will lay on sunday against the jets. fingers crossed, right? john cuoco with the latest.

dorchester wednesday and approached weeks's car. that's when they say he took off dragging two officers. his family said they have the wrong guy. he is innocent until proven guilty, all right? he was walking, doing a good job. you all just don't know. >> anchor: those two officers and other two were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. >> anchor: also in court today, reginald pyrum facing drunk driving charges after allegedly crashing into a police cruiser.r change lanes and collided with the cruiser that was stopped and helping another driver. police say he failed a sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit. the officer suffered minor injuries. boston police arrest four people after a dangerous discovery. police officers pulled over a car that was not registered properly on wednesday night in roxbury and that's when they say they discovered guns, a large enough and more than 20 bags of marijuana inside. police say the driver had a suspended license and one

charges. all four suspects will appear in roxbury district court next week. and scoring a deal. the wet weather didn't stop black friday shoppers from doing just that. shoppers packed stores all day long to find those hot holiday bargains. 7's jennifer egan isly for us in braintree where she talked to some of those i guess we're calling hard core shoppers out there. they had to bare some of the weather and crowds. that's true. jadiann i just walked by a door. if we take a look down the hallway here at the mall, south shore plaza opened at midnight and there have been shoppers here ever since. this was a deal. >> reporter: shoppers searching for buys. these women came in search of this sweater, $160 cashmere for $40. >> reporter: what have deals been like so far? pretty good it's a little

crowds were big they are morning. in braintree, south shore plaza's director of market says the deals last all weekend. not as many retailers are doing the crazy door busters and exing sales through throughout the weekend but black friday is a tradition for a lot of people. i got up early and decided i think i will go to the mall today just to be with the crowd, stack christmas and everything. >> reporter: the only lines we encountered was like a dunkin' donuts. was crazy but at the store it wasn't that bad. it was really cool. >> anchor: we saw plenty of shoppers with hands full of gifts. sometimes admittedly for themselves. we did pretty good. i we made out pretty good. it wasn't bad. are you done with your shopping today? we didn't buy for anybody else. >> anchor: and on their web site the national retailers federation acknowledges that black friday has really changed

>> reporter: i feel like i'm just starring my life. oh god. >> anchor: she is only 26 years old, but already she is fighting for her life. she desperately needs a kidney transplant but is scared to ask for help because of her faith. now she is opening bullpen her condition and hoping someone will be a match. kimberly bookman joins us live from mass general hospital with the story. kier >> anchor: well, this woman is on the transplant registry. she is has also reached out to friends and family but none of them are matching so now she is doing what she considers a scary public appeal. i just feel like i'm being kept alive. you know, by something. >> anchor: life is difficult right now for 26-year-old dania. she was die alice three times a woke and takes dozens of pills daily. this is just the morning ones. >> anchor: diagnosed with lupus

she needs a transplant. but she is concerned her muslim faith may prevent people from wanting to help. if people didn't know that part about me, you know, this ewouldn't think twice and be like hey, this is a girl that needs a kidney and once you put in that piece of information that see is muslim, i don't know how each person is going to react. >> anchor: her co-workers made an appeal but given the recent political climate were fearful broader outreach could end up harming dania. in the days since the election i heard numerous reports of muslim being told to get out of the country and the last thing any of us want to do is to inadvertently make dania a potential target. >> reporter: with dialysis supplies piled up in her apartment. they have taken up a good chung of our home. >> reporter: she is hoping love will conquer hate. there will be people out there that might say, hey, she

our earliest sunset starts on december 24:12 is within we lose daylight then the shortest day of the year then start of winter doesn't arrive until december 21. after that less than a month away we start to make improvement gaining daylight. hang in there, sometimes it helps to just get a little extra exercise in to get the blood flowing a tip if you are feeling blues. the cloud cover. it has been damp and november is the cloudiest month of the year and we are dealing with that. clouds have outworn their welcome and we still see some light showers and some areas for most of us we're just talking about mist and drizzle stick around it has not been a lot of rain to write home b.a fifth of an inch and that's the most of it but it is there is so much moisture that's near the surface right now that we're seeing fog forming away from the coastline even into beverly we're seeing

worcester into bedford, this is something we need continue aware of for travel tonight. current temperatures still at 41. fitchburg dunn through worcester 46 in boston, not getting a whole lot colder overnight tonight. coldest spots into the mid 30, closer to 43 for boston and dealing with that patchy, dense fog overnight into early tomorrow. although tomorrow we do change things up a little bit. maybe some rays of sunshine interior staying dry, showers staying confined to the south and the east. bigger picture. system forms and it stays well offshore but it does throw some wet weather in our direction. again, more likely for points south and east of the i-95 corridor for tomorrow then we have breezy weather to follow on sunday but also more sunshine in for us drying out. here is where the most likely light showers will be and we're talking very light. not a lot of rain on the way. however, as we take a look way down the road along the went that's where we're seeing a lot

and that is on the way for us as we get into the middle of next week. it looks like tuesday, wednesday thursday we get a couple of systems in here that bring some potentially very beneficial rainfall. this could be a lot of wet and windy weather on the way for us tuesday through thursday but again we need the rain and you see how mild those temperatures are into the 50's for both wednesday and thursday so we're talking rain, rather than snow. how much rain is on the way? we'll keep you posted on that but for now it looks like maybe one to two more than that. we'll cross our fingers. >> anchor: after missing the last two days of practice with a knee injury tom brady was back on the field today making it all but a certainty. the reigning offensive player of the week will be good to go sunday against the jets. brady practiced on a littled basis today and is officially listed as questionable for such's show down at the meadowlands. brady's top target rob
