helicopter. police say the accident happened on weather bee drive. >> anchor: let's get to kim khazei in the newsroom with the latest on the situation. kim? >> reporter: ryan and jadiann thompson police are saying the person flown to the hospital is seriously injured so we'll show you again the scene there. we could see the ambulance is here on weather bee drive. that's near adams street in westwood. and police think that this was just an accident but right now we're getting very few details but a pedestrian was hit and being trea hospital. so we're learning more and we will pass that along to you as we get it. for now, that's the latest in the newsroom, kim khazei, 7 new. >> anchor: we're also following breaking news out of berlin, new hampshire where the attorney general is investigating the death of a two-year-old child. investigators say the girl was taken to the hospital after a 911 call on saturday and then later pronounced dead. the chief medical examiner has ruled her death a homicide with a cause of death as blunt force

scamp scott man linked to a deadly drive new accused of being under the influence of drugs and alcohol on the night of that crash. prosecutors say he slammed into a hampton inshuttle bus in august. >> anchor: two tourists from texas died in the crash. 7's steve cooper is in boston with more for us.. >> reporter: stephen of swampscott pleads not guilty to seven different charges in suffolk superior court including two counts of motor vehicle homicide while operating under he then struck the rear of the shuttle at a minimum of 76 miles per hour in a 40 mile-per-hour zone. >> reporter: prosecutors say the 27-year-old was speeding and had a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit when he plowed into a hampton inn airport shuttle van back in august just outside the ted williams tunnel. five people were in the shuttle, two passengers both from texas, were thrown from the van and pronounced deat the scene. were you drunk? there is no comment. >> reporter: he wasn't talking

but prosecutors say his story that another car hit his simply isn't true. after review of all of the video evidence as well as other statements, there has been no evidence that a third vehicle was involved in this crash. >> reporter: did you say another car hit you? he has no comment at this point. that's what he said in court. another car hit him. we have no comment. i won't comment on the evidence. >> reporter: so no car hit hi. i am not commenting on the evidence. i did not say that. you said that. >> reporter: he tell a witness car first has now been ordered by the judge not to drive until this case has been resolved. he returns to court early next year. in boston, steve cooper, 7 news. >> reporter: transit police serving for a woman behind a heat adtake. this is a woman police say threw calleding hot tea at a dunkin' donuts employee. she was upset with her service so she threw the hot tea and seriously burned the worker. it happened in dudley square

police in new orleans serving for two suspects after chaos in the french corridor. a man killed and nine more people hurt when shots ring out on a very crowded bourbon street. christa delcamp has more. >> reporter: video captures the frantic moments when gunfire unleashes chaos on one of the most popular tourist destinations in the nation. in new orleans a night of fun turning into bloodshed on the world famous bourbon somebody shot right on the ground. i got one shot in the hand, i got somewhere shot somebody else i need that ems asap. >> reporter: the mass shooting leaving one dead and nine others injured. we don't believe that any of the victims who were shot were the intended targets. >> reporter: investigators say the violence erupted early sunday morning when an argument between two men escalated into a shoot out and now the search is on for the suspects who managed

to stand trial. roof faces 33 federal charges after shooting and killing nine people inside an historically black church in charleston, south carolina. prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty. a new judge will hear the retrial of former university of cincinnati police officer ray tensing who shot and killed an unarmed black man the previous judge reduced herself saying the new trial should have a "blank slate." a jury was deadlocked on murder and him and a mistrial was declared earlier this month. he testified he feared for his life when this man tried to drive away during a traffic stop back in july of 2015. now his body camera captured the incident. defense attorneys say the man tried to use his car as a deadly weapons forcing tensing to fire his weapon. prosecutors say the evidence contradicts his story. >> anchor: a deadly drive in texas i'm man driving a tractor the wrong way on the highway killing a 20-year-old.

in less than an hour later slammed into an suv on the highway. the woman driving the suv survived with minor injuries but her 20-year-old sister was killed. police say the driver took off after that crash. >> anchor: in washington a man is dead after a freak accident. police say a driver lost control serving off the road then into a home. you can see here the car is just sticking out of the side of the house. that car slammed right into a man's bedroom. it crushed and killed emotional moments she, when he find out what happened. my brother called me, saying that there was a car in the house and he couldn't get my dad to respond to him. >> anchor: that's really hard to see. the 21-year-old driver has not been charged or cited. >> anchor: riders of san francisco's transit system traveled fare free after a hack attack hit the system on friday. today the metro fare gates are back up and running.

fall into the 20's then start slowly climbing back into the lower 30's to around 30 early tomorrow morning but for tonight it's dry becoming cloudy. in advance of our next storm system which is over here and it is a rain maker. in fact it's producing some severe weather across portions of the south. even in iowa a few reports of tornados this evening in iowa. yeah, so this system has a lot going for it. we're not advertising severe weather in new england. but for tomorrow morning drizzle and then rain arrives tomorrow afternoon and it will be the first of two days of rain with temperatures between 46 and 51. a southeast wind around five to 15 miles per hour. there is likely to be stubborn left over cold air in the nooks and crannies of southern new england if you will along the route 2 corridor in this pink shading. so there is a freezing drizzle advisory, nothing significant or widespread but it doesn't take much to turn those roads into a skating rink so there may be a

drizzle early tomorrow morning. again, up until about 8:00 or 9:00. otherwise just as kind of a cool morning with drizzle in the morning then steadier rain arrives tomorrow afternoon. we will have rain tomorrow evening during the commute. you notice some yellows and orange. those are downpours. that will be the case across southern new england through mid evening tomorrow of then we should it down. wednesday we start with clouds, maybe some patchy drizzle. then a second wave of rain from that same storm works into southern new england wednesday afternoon. and wednesday evening's commute so again you notice greens around yellows here other than that just minor threat of some patchy, freezing drizzle tow morning. this is a two day rain event and beneficial rain i think most cities and towns pick up one and a half two two and a half inches of rain. if this were jammed into four hours i would be nervous of street flooding or localized flooding but this is drawn out over two days so i think when
