>> this is 7news now. >> christa: all right. good friday morning, everybody. lots of news ahead here on 7news "today in new england." in fact, we begin this morning with breaking news. police are searching for three suspects after a wentworth police cruiser is hit by a car in iraq. investigators say fur people took off after hit one of the suspects was caught. the officer inside the cruiser is expected to recover. also breaking, man rushed to the hospital after getting shot inside a car in dorchester. this was on devin and normandy streets just before midnight. the victim here suffering serious injuries. police so far have not made any arrests in that case. and officials are looking for the person behind a message of hate at an elementary school in brookline. they say a student drew a swastika on a chalkboard in a
