hill, meteorologist nicole papay, chris scott with pit crew traffic 3 welcome back to the morning news on fox carolina--we're taking a live look at... anderson county.. clemson blvd. 3 3 covering our counties. in greenville county---a man is recovering this morning after being shot twice in the g. 3 deputies say they were called out to a home on old buncombe road tuesday. they say when they arrived the man suffered from a shot to his upper thigh. investigators say they interviewed a couple of witnesses--but no word if anyone was charged. 3 a disturbing story out of spartanburg county:a mother is charged with attempted murder.. after police say she tried to **poison her daughter.. and planned to **kill her. her.police say they responded to a report of an overdose at the "heritage court apartments" last month. they say the woman's daughter is an adult and has down syndrome

officers say they noticed an orange drink with a powdery substance inside it. 3 investigators say her mother---- pamela contreras---- admitted to grinding up pills and feeding them to her daughter. they said she told them after the woman passed out-- she intended to stab her to death.police say contreras told them she was worried that no one would take care of her daughter when she died. 3 in anderson county -- one suspect is locked up.. and another is on the loose following a chase. chase.take a look -- shaqwon geer was taken inin custody monday after deputies spotted a stolen vehicic. vehicle.deputies say they followed the car, which quickly drove off near george albert road monday.as the chase approached the meadow run apartments -- we're told the suspects veered into a concrete barrier -- and ran off.geer was caught in the apartment complex. a k-9 unit responded but could finthth second suspect.anyone with information is asked to contact the anderson county sheriff's office . 3 greenville police want to see if you can help them find a missing woman.

3 you're looking live at: 3 3 for the first time since a greenville counun deputy was shot in the head in the line of duty..his youngest daughter is seeing him out of bed... and walking. walking.this picture was posted on the family's go fund me page tuesday.it shows deputy dave dempsey sitting with his daughter allison. allison.deputy dempsey was shot while responding to a burglary in taylors on december 10-th.it is believed that the man who shot him - charles roseman senior - thought the officers were robbers returning and opened fire.roseman was killed when another deputy returned fire.
