course on our website 3 now to a developing story... 3 tonight ten u-s soldiers are being held in iran after officials say two navy boats briefly entered territorial waters. waters.the boats were traveling from kuwait to bahrain when u-s officals lost contact with them...officials say the crew was on a training mision in the persian gulf-- when one of the boats might failure and drifted into iranian claimed waters.it's unclear whether the ship intentionally entered iranian waters...but right now we're told the sailors are safe. safe.now u-s officials say the sailors are expected to be released in the morning.the plan is to meet to the sailors in international waters after dawn.it's unclear if the two boats will be returned with the service members. 3 back at home, we're covering our counties 3 a 2 year old is dead tonight - after a weeklong stay in the ghs children's icu. icu.the man accused of killing her is in jail facing homicide charges relating to the girl's death. death.according to the deputy

jackson suffered non accidental head injuries.she was admitted to the hospital on january 4.she died yesterday afternoon.her mother's live-in boyfriend - michael latimer junior was initally charged with child abuse.it was upgraded to child abuse by homicide after the child died.no one at latimer's listed address wanted to talk about the 2 year old's death. but did say latimer was not the child's father. 3 an anderson county woman...charged in the death of her newborn baby...will remain behind bars after a judge denied her bond. bond.our cameras were rolling as "joanie holcombe" appeared in court this morning.the sheriff's office says her baby was born on december 13th...and died the same day. they say holcombe confessed to placing the newborn in a plasasc bag.deputies say the baby girl's body was in the woods for weeks before she was found by a neighbor.holcombe

denied bond.the judge advised her to get an attorney and said she could request a preliminary hearing to learn more about the charges against her. 3 and staying in anderson county tonight--the sheriff's office needs help identifying an armed robbery suspect caught on camera camerahere's a look at surveillance pictures from the shop rite store located on sayre street.you can see he's carrying a gun....the sheriff's office says the suspect helped himself to several packs of cigarettes and cash from the register.... then left in a white van.no one was hurt in the incidentbut tonight deputies need your help finding him.if you recognize the suspect or know anything about the incident...call crime stoppers at 1-888-crime-s-c. 3 deputies in mcdowell county also need your help tonight- they're trying to identify the driver of an s-u-v who is suspected in crimes in marion and throughout the county.

is a green dodge durango with tennessee tag v-1-8-4-8-g.it was last seen in a larceny case and at a car theft.the s-u-v has since been caught on camera at several stores in the marion and nebo areas. anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers at 828-65-crime. 3 and in spartanburg county--a deputy has resigned to announce his rurufor sheriff. sheriff.on january eleventh...russell lynch resigned from office after 25-years of service in spartanburg county....so he could run for the repbulican nomination for sheriff in june. tomorrow lynch is expected to officially disclose his campaign's priorities and his vision for moving forward. forward.he will of course be running in the gop primary against the current sheriff... chuck wright--who released his own statement in reaction to the lynch's decision to run... 3 saying quote:"i have never forgotten that the office of sheriff belongs to the people of spartanburg county, not me.

3 and one artist is immortalizing actor morgan freeman-- in salt! salt!that's right....the connecticut artist created this portrait using only salt to do it....he says he took a photo of freeman while using a playing card to draw the outline.he says it then took him 14-hours to complete...and as you'll see in a instagram video...it took just a few seconds to destroy it!
