3 there is still no sign of life in the search for 12 missing marines--that includes a young man from the upstate. upstate.crews have been combing the waters off the coast of the hawaiian island of oahu.on monday.. they found three life rafts from the marines' helicopters.. but no one was on board.the 12 marines have been missing since thursday.. when two helicoptors collided during a training mission. 3 one of those missing marines is sergeant jeffrey sempler from woodruff woodruffon monday.. people gathered at woodruff city hall to pray for him and his fellow marines.sempler's family says he's a good man who just wanted to serve his country. officials say it's still possible that there are survivors from the crash. 3 3 covering our counties--this

victim in a severe case of child abuse in oconee county is now out of the hospital. hospital.seneca police say the six week old victim has a long road to recovery after suffering life-threatening injuries.the baby's mother and her boyfriend are charged in the case. case.police say leroy morris admitted to dropping the baby and stepping on her.and police say the baby's mother-- whitney barnwell-- knew morris was abusing drugs and alcohol while he cared for her kids. she is now out of jail.morris is still locked up. 3 authorities in buncombe county are investigating a shooting. the victim told asheville police he'd been shot in the hillcrest area around 1:00 monday afternoon.he is expected to be okay.no suspect description was released--but anyone with information is asked to call asheville police. 3 the mother of "trayvon martin" will be in pickens county tonight. tonight."sybrina fulton" will be the keynote speaker during a service to mark martin luther king junior day.the service starts at 6:00 in the brooks center for performing arts. arts.trayvon martin was shot and killed in february of 2012. fulton says she's dedicated to creating safer communities
