when you just cant avoid it. it.fox carolina's joe gagnon is live from the d-o-t office in spartanburg where crews are preparing.he's got some tips from the experts. 3 the roads have been prepped for this weather, and highway patrol urges that if you don't have to be on the roads this weekend they say just don't drive on them. them.we talked with corporal bill rhyne and he says the only instance you should be driving on nasty roads is if you are in some sort of emergency..and he says that doesn't mean you don't like what kind of food you have in your house, but some sort of serious emergency that you need to get to...if you must leave..rhyne also says make sure you give someone you know a heads up on where you are going..

3 welcome back to the morning news on fox carolina.you're looking live over usc upstate. 3 after 41 days in n the hospital.. a greenville county deputy is back home this morning. morning.deputy dave dempsey was released from g-h-s on wednesday.hospital staff.. along with family and fellow officers were all there for him.last month, deputy dempsey was shot in the head during a burglary call in taylors.he's been through weeks of rehab,
