watching this in the pit crew traffic center. center.3 you are looking live at: 3 3 we're following some overnight developments out of seattle. police say two people were killed and three others were hurt in a shooting at a homeless camp. investigators say they're looking for at least one person connected to the incident tuesday night. no other details have been released. 3 another story that's developing, right now --the leader of that armed group that took over a federal wildlife refuge in oregon is behind bars.one of his followers is dead..law enforcement officers say they tried pulling over two vehicles on a highway tuesday-- and shots were fired.its still unclear who fired first but "lavoy finicum: was killed and "ammon bundy" and several others were arrested.

meeting. you may remember the group took over a wildlife refuge last month to protest federal management of public lands. we'll of course continue to followthese stories. 3 greenville county schools are back on regular schedule this morning---but, buses won't be riding down icey roads. the school district says they've notified parents in those particular areas and if they chose to keep their kids home they will be given an excused absence for today. 3 as of now, if one part of greenville county is too icey...nobody in the district goes to school--but because the district is so large how the weather affects the roads is often very different. different.that's why some parents are suggesting dividing up the areas into weather zones. but district leaders says it's not that easy.a district spokesperson told fox carolina there are a lot of factors to consider when it comes to dividing up the schoolsfor one: 15 percent of students cross county lines to get to their school. 3 3 "where is the break line, because we don't have clear feeder patterns, our elementary schools don't feed

saint matthews church on saint matthews lane monday-- after church leaders say the education building had been vandalized. authorities say this suspect broke a double glass door to get in - and stole flat screen tvs.anyone with information should contact spartanburg police at the number on your screen. 3 a greenville county man -- charged with murder -- will soon have his case heard by a grand jury. 3 "timiya massey" is charged in the deadly shooting at the dolphin apartments on north franklin road back in september- 3 anthony nutridge was shot to death in the breezeway of an apartment building. during a preliminary hearing tuesday-- massesy's attorney argued the shooting was a drug deal gone bad-- but homicide investigators say evidence shows it was a robbery that led to a shooting. 3 if you have friends in the low country -- they may have told you about a sonic boom in their neighborhood. neighborhood.dozens of social media users posted about the boom just before 1:00 tuesday afternoon.a statement from the college of charleston says they believe the sonic boom came from an airplane.people in the area reported they felt their homes shaking and wanted to know if an earthquake had hit.marine reps say they had

news on fox carolina---we're taking a live look at... simpsonville.. fairview road 3 texas teen "ethan couch" -- made famous for his affluenza defense against a drunk in the u-s this week. week.according to couch's lawyer, he has dropped an appeal against deportation. that means he will be **deported to texas to face charges by the end of this week.couch and his mother were arrested in mexico last month. she was sent back to america shortly after but ethan held out, appealing his deportation. 3 health leaders say you need to be aware of the zika virus if you're planning to travel internationally. internationally.the c-d-c sent out an alert earlier this week. they say at least one person tested positive in arkansas and virginia.most of the international cases are in central and south america and the caribbean.zika is spread by mosquito bites and can cause birth defects and developmental issues in babies. a local doctor says you should be fine taking normal precautions.
