highway 24 near abercrombie road in anderson county. troopers say the tow truck driver was in the median getting ready to load the vehicle when a car came down the road....hitting both men... and tonight we're hearing from the man who called for the tow truck.he says six inches could have made the difference between life and death. 3 3 3 "i was scared, i grabbed myself, i told my friend, tell my family and friends that i love them cause you know i didn't know how bad the injures was the extend of the injuries." 3 and tonight the south carolina highway patrol is looking for a 2000 to 2006 burgundy toyota corolla similar to the one you see on your screen.they say the drivers's side mirror is missing.ricky mitchell told us the tow driver was going to need surgery for his leg.if you see this car or have any information...you're asked to call the south carolina highway patrol.

3 an upstate controversy was the topic of discussion at cnn's democratic town hall tonight-- as hillary clinton and bernie sanders took the stage at the university of south carolina. carolina.the two are vying for votes on saturday in the south carolina primary.clinton was asked about the debate over beyonce's super bowl halftime performance and that lead to a discussion about police shootings. 3 and she even mentioned zachary hammond--an upstate teen who was fatally shot by a seneca police officer during an undercover drug bust back in july. july.this is a look at the dashcam video from that night. the police officer says hammond used his car as a weapon and that he shot in self defense..but his family disagrees...tonight clinton said deadly force should *always be a last resort for officers. 3 3 3 3 "we have too many instances, here in south carolina we had walter scott, in north charleston. there was a young

resident construction engineer on the project says they will be expanding lanes along 85 and go all the way under roper mountain road. he says they will also be making intersection improvements to woodruff road. this is a video the dot released today showing some of the changes drivers will be experiencing. you can see where 385 and 85 intersect, there will be several new ramps put in. 3 3 3 "200 thousand cars per day travel this interchange as it is. in 2035 we're anticipating that that number is going to go to 350 thousand cars per day. so, there's a great increase in traffic that we're anticipating." anticipating."he says the north side of woodruff road will have another lane between 85 and 385. intersections at carolina point, market point and garlington roads will be re-done... adding turn lanes and right out only lanes into the greenridge shopping center. 3 valetti tells me the lane closures will only happen at night, and he says they will

6pm wednesday.since the storms 3 are arriving in the morning there won't be as much warmth to give them energy, but there will be strong wind dynamics at play. that means that if a storm does get going, it could rotate and potentially produce a tornado. strong winds aloft could also get pulled to the surface, causing isolated areas of wind damage. threat should end by noon as line pushes east.temperatures will get into the 60s quickly through wednesday with breezy conditions, then temperatures will plummet wednesday evening. snow showers will be likely along the tn border wednesday night.thursday will be breezy but sunny with highs in the low 50s for the upstate and mid 40s in the mountains. sunny conditions will prevail into the weekend with highs getting back to near 60 by
