traffic center. center.you are looking live at: 3 thousands of people in the thousands of 3 thousands of people in the upstate are waking up without power--all likely due to those high winds. winds.here are some of the biggest numbers:at last check more than 33-hundred duke energy customers were still without power in spartanburg county.greenville county is reporting about 37-hundred.and in anderson county about 12- hundred homes and businesses are in the dark.and in rutherford county a little more than a thousand people are without power. 3 in spartanburg county -- the damage is widespread... snapped power lines on several streets -- and downed trees have created a mess across the area. 3 fox carolina's ashley minelli is live on east park street in spartanburg where one tree took out a power line there...

update it around the clock. 3 the five remaining republican candidates will take center stage tonight for another debate ahead of super tuesday -- where several states will be casting their votes. 3 front-runner donald trump, ted cruz, marco rubio, john kasich and ben carsonwill take part in debate hosted by cnn and telemundo. it will take place at the university of houston at 8:30. cnn anchor wolf blitzer will moderate the debate. 3 and on wednesday-- all of the candidatesw **except trump spoke on fox's "the kelly file" for a town hall. a number of issues were discussed. including women in the draft--the economy, anti-muslim rhetoric and veteran affairs. here's what some of the candidates had to say. 3 3 3 "but i don't think we ought to be forcibly drafting women particularly putting them in a situation where they're in combat. combat.if women want to step forward and serve voluntarily i think that's perfectly appropriate and it's a wonderful thing but it doesn't make sense to be drafting women in combat." combat." 3 3 "we should not pitting and dividing americans against

give people a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chance to be able to make it in our country." 3 and vermont senator bernie sanders was also in columbia on wednesday --he talked about how he will fight poverty and welfare reform during a news conference. when sanders was asked how his campaign is contending with clinton's in south carolina --he said he's optimistic. 3 3 3 "this is a race where you got to get 2400 delegates. 2400 delegates. so we are in this race to win it and i think we are going to pull of one of the great political upsets." 3 and the third democratic candidate who will be on the ballot this weekend --hosted a town hall here in greenville county. chicago businessman willie wilson was at the phillis wheatley community center.he touched on many topics like education... gun violence... and domestic violence.wilson was asked about isis --and he said concerns about the middle east are imimrtant -- but we need to focus on america first. 3 3

3 only on fox-- a close friend of this mother of four--who was killed and left at an upstate boat landing-- is sharing more on her life and the children she left behind. 3 on tuesday -- we learned kasey waldrop was charged with her murder --after pickens county deputies say two fisherman found khan on sunday.the sheriff's office says they were friends -- but didn't provide any other details on the deadly shooting. 3 kahn leaves behind four children. her close friend is asking the community to help in out in anyway they can -- to take care of the kids so they can all stay together. she says kahn was a beautiful and happy woman who's life revolved around her children. 3 3 3 "she loved everything about life, everything about her children (starts crying) everything about anybody she can help in anyway... she was just a good person." person."khan's funeral will be held this friday at the palmetto mortuary. if you would like to help this family -- we have the link to the go fund me page on our website. 3

pickens county-- a man is out of jail on bond after clemson police say he had a gun on campus. 3 charles brown is charged with possession of a firearm on school property.police say brown had the gun in an apartment in calhoun courts. they tell us brown was a guest at the apartment and is not a student or an employee at the university. 3 in greenville county.it looks like a convention center wont be built in downtown greenville any time soon. soon.the city was looking for information on the possible location, size and layoututf the hypothetical convention center -- and after a year long study -- a 250 page report revealed it doesn't look to be feasible right now. researchers say its because of sizing limitations based on the current historic and botanical areas in the city.

3 deputies say they responded to the hot spot on north blackstock road on tuesday. witnesses told deputies a group of people in a car were trying to buy drugs but when they realized they were fake--they robbed the dealer. deputies say cox then hopped into his car... and ran their car off the road. one person was taken to the hospital. 3 in anderson county: police are **still looking for a man they say stabbed a security guard at the anderson mall. 3 police say "abe cowan" tried to leave the dillard's store with stolen clothes -when the security officer tried to stop him - he reportedly threw the bag at him, pulled out a knife, and cut the officer's arm.this happened back on febraury 12-th. 12-th.authorities say-- cowan took off running... and is now wanted on several charges if you have any information on his whereabouts s your asked to call crime stoppers at 1-888- crime-sc. 3 3 the five remaining republican candidates will take center stage tonight for their final debate before super tuesday when voters in several states will cast their ballots. 3 front-runner donald trump, ted
