center.you are looking live at: 3 a developing story out of spartanburg this morning -- we're working to get more information.. after a five year old was **shot in spartanburg. spartanburg.deputies say it happened inside a home on rowe street in the arcadia community monday night. the sheriff's office did confirm the shooting was accidental. as of right now deputies have not released any other information about what lead up to the incident. we also will be working to get an update on the child's condition -- we'll update you when we learn more. 3 3 an upstate community is mourning the loss of a little girl -- just one day after her family's honea path home burned in a fire. fire.the coroner says 5-year-old sophia rhodes died of smoke inhalation at the augusta burn center last night. 3 fox carolina's ashley minelli

jeffrey mcclain. they say they responded to the wal-mart on anderson road in powdersville -- and when they got there -- they heard someone yelling that mcclain had broken into their car.deputies say -- mcclain took off running -- throwing the things he stole as he ran. he was caught after he ran into a deputy. authorities say he also broke into a car at rite aid -- and broke into a home on ross street twice. mcclain is being held on a 80-thousand dollar bond. 3 3 one of the biggest days in the the presidential primary race.. is here. it's "super tuesday" -- and more than 10 states will be holding primaries or caucuses. caucuses.there are 595 delegates up for grabs for the republicans. and 865 delegates for the democrats. georgia, massachusetts and texas have the most delegates up for grabs. 3 in georgia -- two groups could make the difference for candidates. according to usa- today black voters will determine the outcome for the democrats and evangelical christians for the republicans. georgia is a major state for presidential hopefuls -- with 193 delegates

3 3 a bill that would protect tow truck drivers on the road is expected to be talked about in columbia today. today.the family of an upstate tow truck driver -- **killed on eye-85 is behind the proposal --and they're talking only to fox carolina. carolina.troopers say "eddie mills" was **hit and **killed while loading a car onto his truck in spartanburg county back in november.now -- his wife stacy is leading an effort to pass "eddie's law." the law would provide protection for tow truck drivers... who are only covered under certain circumstances in the state's current "slow down, move over law." 3 3 3 "he's loved towing his whole life, he loved helping people, he was very dedicated to the business he loved it very much and was a hard worker, a great husband and a loving father, a good friend" friend""its just hard to go through this with your family" family""eddies law" is sponsored by upstate

they tried to pull over dexter reeves earlier this month-- instead--he led deputies on a chase into anderson county--it ended when reeves collided with the pick up truck burnett was in driving to work. they say the 62-year-old died on scene and now his death has been ruled a homicide. burnett's family says although they are still searching for answers...they're thankful for the support they've received. 3 3 3 "we've had such an outpouring from the community, the powdersville community. it's daily, it's constant. it just makes you feel good to know that powdersville is a really caring community and there's a lot of great 3 people here who love this family. and that's what's important. they also want some answers as to what happened and what's going on." 3 highway patrol is investigating the crash and they haven't released what charges reeves may face in connection to the deadly wreck. wreck.reeves is being held without bond on previous including burglary,

two counts of domestic violence. 3 we're learning new information about a deadly crash that killed four usc-upstate student athletes. athletes.the coroner says the driver... and others in the car had been drinking and says alcohol played a part in their cause of death.james campbell, josh lee, mills sproull, and sarah vande berg were killed after their car hit a tree in spartanburg county last year in october. 3 after months of push-back .. the spartanburg county coroner released toxicology results during a press conference on monday.it's after some of the families did not want toxicology or autopsy results released.the coroner says results show that the driver, james campbell was legally drunk, and two of the passengers had blood alcohol levels above the 0.08 legal level. the coroner says one of the passengers barely had any alcohol in their system. we spoke with josh lee's girlfriend who knew all four students. 3 3 3 "there's a part of it you can't just you know push aside and just ignore it and i think a lot of people think the families were trying to cover it up, and they weren't they

wrestling team and so is one of the victims.both shooting victims are expected to recover.after opening fire, he ran and was tracked by k9 officers.hancock is facing charges including two counts of attempted murder. 3 prosecutors say "jesse matthew" will appear before a judge wednesday morning.he's expected to plead guilty to killing two college students in virginia.18 year old "hanna graham" was a university of virginia student who disappeared in september of 2014.20 year old "morgan harrington" was a virginia tech student who was last seen leaving a concert in 2009. matthew is already serving a life sentence for sexual assault.prosecutors say the plea will help him avoid the death penalty. 3 apple won't have to develop software to break into their iphones.. thanks to a federal judge.the new york judge **denied a department of justice request for a court order on monday.feds were trying to use a certain law to force apple to break into the phone of one of the san bernardino shooters.the federal judge said the department of justice can't make apple developers write

3 sports reporter "erin andrews" is expected to take the stand in court **again today in her lawsuit against a nashville hotel. hotel.she gave testimony on monday about being secretly filmed back in 2008.andrews is suing the nashville marriott at vanderbilt university and "michael barrett".prosecutors say barrett recorded andrews without clothes on then posted the video online.her legal team is arguing the incident has emotionally scarred andrews for life. 3 time for traffic and weather every ten minutes.
