several days ago u-s commandos and kurdish forces launched a dangerous raid on an isis prison in iraq. we've obtained footage of what happened inside that prison when those troops stormed in. the footage appears to show the joint u-s-kurdish raid on an isis prison in iraq last week. it was obtained by the 'arab 24' news agency, it says from kurdish military officials. amid the sounds of gunfire - the hostages emerge. terrified. and barefoot. their hands held up to show they're unarmed. bullet holes in the walls suggest there'd been a gunfight. a voice in arabic apparently from the rescuers yells for the hostages to "keep moving." they do, in filthy prison gowns, some appear stained in blood, as they move to safety. the commandos inspect another room with a large isis flag.

when it's all said and done....americans are expected to spend almost 7 billion dollars on halloween. that's money spent on costumes, decorations, and of course trick-or- treat candy. bob hansen has some tips on how you can save this year. clerks at grocery outlet were filling the shelves with candy this morning. "we go through so much of it, we really do. candy is one of our good sellers." in fact handing out candy is the number one way people celebrate halloween. so how can you fill trick or treat bags without breaking the bank? "the chocolate is a little bit more expensive for the amount that you
8:38 am
get, the hard candies and stuff a little cheaper." so watch what you buy... and watch where you buy it. discount stores and warehouse clubs often have the cheapest prices. look for store coupons, and if you're brave enough... don't buy your halloween candy until the last minute. "the closer you get to halloween the cheaper the candy is going to be and i'm going to say 50 percent sometimes." consignment and thrift stores are a must visit for penny pinchers trying to fill their halloween shopping list. "and every day we bring out more halloween it's gone very fast. they are right on it searching through it." this salvation army thrift store has racks of costumes and shelves of decorations, you have may to look around but the search is worth the savings. wilma sablan spent about 20 minutes filling her halloween wish list. "i just bought a bunch of knick knacks for halloween and i spent five bucks on like 7 items." "over 20 bucks." "i know i took my daughters halloween costume shopping and

dear future, life is good. no, great. i'm like, a man. only better. but even though i know everything, i still feel like you could surprise me. like that skateboard incident with the squirrel. but life is sweet now. hey, what could go wrong? it's you and me all the way, future.
9:04 am
you have your tax plan, different on so many others others we have seen on the republican republican side regular brackets into three, 25, 10 and 2 percent that the people of the bottom still pay something . such as bush, but had abandoned his plan . >> the class found out today, and every income level would be
9:05 am
percent is the most important in the plan . we need to be in this together, they said that millions will not pay taxes under the plan i got to mistake, this country, when her that pays group that pays taxes another group that is more dependent on government . i hereby should care shouldn't care about wasting in dc, earned is more fulfilling than unearned success we should also shared sacrifice and is an important part of the american dream and experience even if it is only 2 percent wish they at least a little bit. >> democrats, will not get together and look at the top bracket pesetas woman plan that gives the rich a nice tax break.
9:06 am
better under my tax reform across the american economy . it will grow 14 percent adding 6 million jobs and increase wages about 8 percent of people have hurt by the democratic economy has been the middle-class with only 2 percent economic growth, the wealthy are doing just fine, i'm worried interest america does not do well under these policies that screw the economy and shrink the government economy. >> for huckabee another set into a flat tax and he said she do more of a consumption tax, if you are a gambler, he said basically, foreign visitors here , in the end that will grow better than cutting taxes. >> my plan does remove those who
9:07 am
spend their money . my concern is given the government another power to tax i worry if you give them the power they will add that to the existing taxes they already take too much of our money . they can simply add that to the income tax i'm sympathetic to those who say you want to discriminate between earnings versus consumption of the way it works is to amend the constitution to take away the power to tax income otherwise the politicians would just take more money many of these plans, and they call themselves flat tax but they still have exemptions for others to get rid of all of the corporate welfare tired of picking winners and losers important that everybody pay something i think is ours is the only then does that. >> are taxes get far easier to
9:08 am
details,, whether it is the sales tax or the so-called flat tax for all annie back more exemptions and our plan is much more simpler and gets rid of the corporate welfare it gets rid of the complexity in recent that complexity is that both parties listen to lobbyists and special interests we do need a simpler and fairer tax code, we don't need the irs having so much power taken away the complexity takes away the power of the rare occurrence using governor christie was talking about super packs, and most everybody has won, and he says that let's get rid of the need for these things , let's allow you to have a limited contribution to a federal candidate don't have to
9:09 am
lot simpler and he says that will clean up a system . what do you think is going on fine as long as there is transparency but when either party tries to limit who gives party money both parties try to stop the other side from giving money and it never works . they'll come up with new roles and the reality is courts have ruled this is part of freedom of speech, there will be up to stop people from participating and i think transparency is the best disinfectant that people know where the money is and they can decide if they want to support or not based on policies experiences, this is an election , not an auction seeing those who raise the most don't wind up winning if you don't have a compelling message for background and experiences, that people will vote for you . jeb
9:10 am
bush raise $100 million the people said, lease on life about obama to have the election i say that the voters decide, and we've seen what happened people have gone up and down . it turns out that voters decide. do you think when you are president you'll be paid as much
9:11 am
as if you were a man-male... this is one of the jobs where they have to pay you the same. but there are so many examples where that doesn't happen. i'm going to do everything i can to make sure every woman in every job gets paid the same... ...as the men who are doing that job. i'm hillary clinton
9:12 am
look, i know you're a cow and all. and you may not know what i'm talking about, but, uh. the yogurt made from your milk, is delicious. milk, fruit, cultures. mmmm, yoplait. defined planned parenthood that's that's not what he is a lengthy police encounters encounters tragedy of government are going about this he said that you . you did that mistake and is in the court system our governor says he does not want to get into this because it
9:13 am
in the states are following our lead i disagree with your your governor of this on this i think every state should be found planned parenthood to talk about it, half a billion dollars of taxpayer dollars this is something that the state level we can do with medicaid, i am pro-life, and even if not, i think it should be horrified by the robert acts described in these videos be launched an investigation and canceled medicaid contracts, they to take us to court in handy obama administration find them but they can set all the attorneys they want we had to sue the obama administration to defend statewide choice we had to sue them in the federal courts over the uk overreach into our water rules and to sue them over common core we have had to fight against the obama administration for our rights and i think that the republicans at have gotten
9:14 am
fighting is going to sue us but i think it is worth fighting for the party needs to stand for innocent human life of the first to take on planned parenthood a number of states are doing that imagine if every governor every governor never stated this they can't come can come after us all . >> talk about religious liberty, and the the bushes under a couple weeks ago and i asked him , to help people explain where the lines are how to express and his example was to think of a cake and into arthur baker . he does not want to be forced to fake it for a wedding with her a birthday or something fine, you boil that down simply square i think, to remember that they founders took our liberty rights there is no freedom of
9:15 am
speech or association without religious liberty . i'm a christian i believe a marriage as between is between a man and woman if they don't agree they should respect that they should not be forced to participate in a way that violates their conscious nor should they be county clerk or pastor we have rights he should i give those up because you have a job and operated business, where the the way the courts interpret this is that the religious freedom restoration act gives us liberty amplifies our first amendment rights . you go to court for to try to take away your religious liberty rights you have a right don't have a right to hurt someone else you can't yell fire
9:16 am
religious liberty no government can force me to participate in a way that violates my beliefs but legend tells me that i am allowed to go into your home for violates your rights just because 2,000 there should be no exception cannot discriminate or choose not to rent out, i guess . people struggle but what about restaurants or apartments this claim go back to the basics, and back to the caterer nobody says a restaurant can refuse service to people to eat a meal, they should not be forced to participate in a wedding that violates their religious beliefs . i don't know of any religion that says that people should not eat but i think that's the balance of the left place to come out with hypothetical examples, you got christian

, then but it is out, and web . o'malley is still alive, and let's bring in the next guest . a former executive director the iowa democratic party . to make sense of what's happening, . at the last one register poll for the democrats . it does look look like it is a two-person race, no
9:19 am
not making headway . she sent o'malley's doing everything right showing a classic campaign he's got a good number of organizers he's got throughout the state, while seasoned operatives who know what they're doing into in a caucus campaign, i think on caucus night he will do better than 2 percent that shows up on the des moines register poll. at this stage i would be surprised if not got higher than third place, i think it's a level support is higher than the 2 percent you see currently. >> and clinton and sanders were neck. >> . i was with bernie sanders in oskaloosa tuesday, and there was a chunk of his speech that i want to play and get your
9:20 am
connect with the crowd. >> the president of the united states, can't alone do what has to be done, these guys are just too powerful, not bernie sanders or anybody else and that is why i call our campaign, which is unique in american history . i call it american revolution not just electing as president and i can accomplish what needs to be done what is the once a sense of electing me ? only way to accomplish what i believe the american people want the majority, is when tens of millions of people began to stand up, and it loudly and clearly say that enough is enough . >> i thought it captured the history to connect with the crowd, two very different styles
9:21 am
you look at sanders versus hillary clinton what you make of this call for tried to start a revolution? >> i think he's trying to appeal to his supporters and a different way, to understand his base of support . it is similar to barack obama's campaign, a different language . the same concept that we are in this together, to be successful it's going to be because of you and sanders often references that and portions of his speech .. >> you are publicly committed, if we are in a climate, people looking for an outsider type . even though he has been in politics for decades for decades this cavity is your chance to connect them clinton?
9:22 am
democratic side, the question about bernie sanders, he is attracting a lot of folks to his campaign that are nontraditional caucus goers . the question is if they show up, historically that is a tough strategy on the democratic side, bill bradley and howard dean tried it, and barack obama, and one out of three was successful, the very sanders has a good team of people who understand the caucuses, it is a difficult task . >> is watching the democrats closely he keeps his eye on the other side of things so this

this year that outsider continued donald trump is no longer the top choice and ben carson passed him test them so this was just in six weeks a 15-point swing between those talk to nbc marco rubio in ted cruz rounding rounded out the top four . so you mentioned in the last segment you'll see this outsider thing amongst the democrats but with the republicans, how should the democrats come after this, this is something to substitute . what are these gets the nomination? >> think that first of all, the polls reflect a certain feeling, republican caucus goers . on saturday it would be 100 days from the iowa caucuses . on the republican side, in iowa, whether first or second in the
9:25 am
established candidate . it should democrats be afraid of carson and trump, no? >> should it they be afraid of jeb bush . i don't think it has been a good october ended his campaign continues until think it would cause concern in the general election . his profile is likely to appeal to independent voters in swing states which as democrats we need to worry about. >> looking at those numbers, looking at me battle with rubio . what he brings to the table for the democrats is he scarce independence as being too extreme . so either they stay home where they go with the democrats with a huge win for us he can bring to republicans is to excite the republican base to
9:26 am
turn out but you've got to have a candidate they that can win the medal. >> utilities were connected to the right side of the field ? seems to me he's trying to fight in the establishment lane. >> i think that's an indication of how the republican party has changed changed in the races changed over time, he may be fighting for the more established wing of the party but he is not an established entity claiming it's just an indication of how far right the primary has gone just a jeb bush , should i skip iowa and? >> i would never anybody to skip iowa .

first in that it works out in new hampshire. did you think that bush is to get top five? >> i think that if he does not do well here, then what makes you think he would do well in new hampshire and south carolina or nevada, but a question for iowa being the raw demographics for bush is more about the campaign message that he runs on . >> is looking back welcome back,
