"superbook." the little boy is watching
10:49 am
"superbook," and he learns to pray. look at him. he kind of looks at my little son. i want to kiss him and take his skin off. if you're not a cbn partner, why don't you choose to become one. our audience is filled doing that. and they will tell you. for 65 cents a day, $20 a month, you can change a life. we're encouraging you to call 1-800-759-0700, or log on to cbn.com. and here is something really cool for you because we like to make life easy. it is called pledge express, and that means the bank does all of the work. don't you love somebody doing all of the work for you. well, the bank does. so when you call in and say i want to be part of pledge express, we are going to give you this. it's called "power for life," and it's pat and gordon's powerful monthly teachings. all right, i'm done. >> pat: all right. when we come back, autho an
10:50 am
author is going to talk about the revelation that god has given him. it. so we'll be right back. [applause]
10:51 am
>> pat: we have a treat for you today. a dear friend, doug sheets, has been a man praying for revival.
10:52 am
and has heard from god. it is so good to have you with us. >> thank you, pat. >> all right. >> pat: what is god telling you about america? >> you know, i feel like we've moved into a window of opportunity that i actually agree with you, when you said earlier in the program, we're waring for the future of the world. i had a dream recently given to me, where in the dream i had grown to 6' 9," which was interesting. >> pat: you could play in the nba. >> yeah. and i knew instantly that it wasn't a stature thing. it was a scripture. and it was galatians 6: 9, which is don't grow weary of doing right. so i studied the verse.
10:53 am
"due season," there is a word, kiros, and it's a window of opportunity. it is not a guaranteed thing. the verse says if you don't faint. so the best transaction would be a window of opportunity. idios is a word that means ownership. and as far as god is concerned, we own this. we have an opportunity that god hat give has given to us. and he is waiting for us, to determine if we grab the opportunity. i feel like this is the season. this is the season we're in right now that will determine our history for at least the next 40 years. >> pat: what happens if we fail at this point? >> i think we go -- at the very least, we go through another cycle of judgment. and the economy won't recover, but worse than that, we could lose a generation. there is a generation out there that doesn't know god. there is a harvest, i
10:54 am
believe -- if we go through this window, i believe that we will see at least a billion souls saved in the next 10 years around the world. but i feel like it can hang in the balance, based on whether or not the praying church rises up and shakes off weariness and contends for what god is offering us right now. >> pat: that prize is so incredible. the greatest move of god in the history of mankind is standing right there, waiting for us. >> i believe it will be a third great awakening that will sweep the world. god is talking about elijah, that even though it was time for rain and he received some victories, and the fire had fallen, he still had to go on top of the mountain and pray seven times before the rain could be released. the number seven stands for covenant. in the old testimony, when
10:55 am
they would move to covenant, they would take an oath. they would repeat it seven times. often in scripture, when god is dealing with you in judgments in israel, or restoration, you'll find the number seven. it's god's sign. whether it is seven years -- it is god's sign that, hey, you moved out of covenant with me. many times, when he is bringing them back into redemption and restoration, you'll find the number seven over and over. elijah had to contend seven times. why? because he was warring for covenant. april 29th we planted that cross on the beach. april 29th, years later, george washington dedicated this nation to god. same date, washington for jesus, years ago, april 29th. we have a covenant with god, and we have a abandoned that covenant, and god is saying
10:56 am
to us, return to covenant, war for covenant. i'm so glad you guys are doing this, 51 days of prayer. >> pat: you're encouragement to us. i want to reiterate what i said earlier. now is the time for pray for this nation. i know you cast off weariness. there is so many stuff in all of our lives, but we've got to get back to basics. and, remember, i want your name to be up on this board behind me. to say i am going to be praying. by the way, don't let this opportunity pass. dutch is a great author. he has written a book called "dream." what about dreams? >> you know, i feel like the lord gave me this book to challenge people, not in night dreams, but to dream with him. and i started studying the concept of dreaming, and to my great surprise, i found
10:57 am
that the word "create" and the word "dream" or "imagine" are the same word in hebrew. when we come into partnership with god and allow him to dream our dreams, that awakens a creative force in us, that enables us to accomplish the dream, and we become not only successful, but we become an outlet for god's dreams. >> pat: i found that all we have to do is listen to what god says. if god says it, then it will come to pass. his dreams become physical reality very quickly. he speaks that creative word. >> that's exactly right. and he gave us his dreaming nature because he knew he would need partners. and so we dream. he gives us dreams. he helps us accomplish our dreams. but as some point we realize, you know, god has a dream in my dream. and a part of my dream is for him. and we become an outlet for his dreams. >> pat: dutch will be
