i was out there earlier today and you could not have asked for a better day. lindsey: that is for sure. this can't last forever. it is going to be beautiful for labor day. i have your travel forecast. a lot of folks like to enjoy some of that. tonight, no worries, great sleeping weather. that cool air is going to see ben. overnight lows near 58. crickets. as we head into labor day weekend, the rest of it, tomorrow is sunday, then labor day is looking great, but here's the kicker. we do have a cold front on the way. it will be happening on monday, but won't get here and tell overnight monday into tuesday. if you are traveling and will be in northern wisconsin on the day of labor day, you will run into

intense. if you are right along here, sunny throughout, but towards our west, these are the areas that may cause you some trouble if you're off towards areas in the dakotas, parts of minnesota, and also northwestern wisconsin as we head into monday. keep that in mind. there are some storms blowing up near kansas and nebraska, but not a lot going on right now in the great lakes. we have we for ones are caught between a few different weather systems. we have a cold front right there. that will be heading in our direction overnight monday into tuesday. we talked about this earlier, hermine will turn back into a hurricane at some point. it may turn back into a tropical storm, but we are keeping an i on it. it's going to bring a lot of

in our direction, as i mentioned, monday into tuesday. we are caught in between right here. we have this high pressure zone, good weather, and at high pressure will hang out with us the rest of the weekend, so let's track that latest cold front. it is doing its thing right here. this is tomorrow at 1:00, storms often minnesota. that is what we are going to see, the tricky travel conditions. this a lot of the storms popping up there in the western part of minnesota, then they get here, and i mention this earlier, by the time they get here, there is no energy left. this is 9:00 a.m. on monday, windy, clouds to the west, but watch what happens. they fizzle out a little bit. the cold front has not gotten here yet. that is a little way that will roll through. we will get one more.

[applause] >> on wisconsin. stephanie: that's packers quarterback aaron rodgers earlier today on espn's college gameday at lambeau field. he one of the few who picked the badgers to pull off the upset over the fifth-ranked lsu tigers in the season opener, a game you saw earlier today right here on wisn 12. it's the first badgers game in wisconsin outside of madison since 1905. lsu with the ball mid-way through the second quarter. darius guice fumbles. chikwe obashi recovers it for wisconsin. that leads to a field goal. badgers defense all over tigers running back leonard fournette. they stuff him here on fourth down. wisconsin up 6-0 at the half. second half. badgers with the ball. great catch here by troy fumagalli. he had seven catches for 100 yards. four plays later, wisconsin finally finds the endzone. corey clement with a five-yard run, just reaches across the

no lambeau leap, but that's ok. badgers are now up 13-0. but later the third quarter, the momentum shifted. bart houston on the badgers own 10 yard line gets picked off by white, and white will take it to the house, and the tiger's first score comes from their defense. badgers still up by six. but about a minute later, badgers fumble the ball, the tigers recover, and they would capitalize. quarterback brandon harris connecting with travon dural for the touchdown. all of a sudden, the badgers are trailing by one. trailing by one. but with under four minutes to play kicker raphael gaglianone , hits a 47-yard field goal, his third one of the game. puts the badgers back on top 16-14. and with a minute to play, the badgers d'cota dixon picks off tigers quarterback brandon harris to seal the victory at lambeau. and, yes, the badgers leaping for joy after pulling off the upset over lsu. the final 16-14. >> very proud of the way our

everything. i'm really happy for them. it was a heck of a game against a really good opponent. stephanie: here's 12 sports dan needles and drew olson from lambeau field and their take on the badgers big win over the tigers. dan: a monumental win for the wisconsin badgers in the season opener, 16-14 over fifth-ranked lsu. drew olson, we did not see this comi only the journal sentinel call this. i guess aaron rodgers got it right, too. in college, you don't get a preseason, so the first game is not always the truest test. they survived and looked like the stronger team today. you figured he was going to go between 150-200 yards. they kept him to 136. the defense won this game.
