breaking news in miami, florida, a bomb threat closed a tourist area in miami. we are taking a live look at ocean drive. police say they are acting out of an abundance of caution so far. there is no word if anything has been found. a hales corners pastor is charged with molesting children. joyce: we've learned reverend thomas chantry, seen in this video on his church's website, is facing multiple felony wisn 12 news terry sater reports that the pastor is out on bail. >> my name is tom chantry and i'm the pastor at christ reformed baptist church in hales corners. >> pastor tom chantry is now charged in arizona with molesting children where he , served as a pastor at miller valley baptist church in prescott ten years ago. >> we have all done things which we know are wrong. why do we do this? >> this is chantry in a video posted on the website of

corners. the video was recorded in milwaukee. >> the bible says the understanding of the truth and our ability to do what is right are hindered by our own nature. >> the eight arizona charges stretch from the mid-1990's up until 2001. one case involves a child under the age of 10. it caught the attention of the survivors network of those abused by priests, including david clohessy. >> he's accused of molesting five kids, and common sense would suggest that there's probably more. so we in snap think it's important for people to spread the word. >> so that if the accusations are true, chantry can be kept away from children. >> guilt means that we have broken god's law and must pay the price. >> we tried to contact pastor

hisntry joyce: chantry was taken into custody here in late july and extradited to arizona to face criminal charges but he bonded , out and returned to wisconsin. the hales corners church tells us he's currently on a leave of absence. the man accused of driving drunk and causing the crash that killed a caledonia father and his nine-year-old daughter is heading to trial. levi ruohonen pleaded not guilty to homicide charges and then waived his right to a preliminary hearing. police say ruohonen had been at a strip bar, drinking with friends the day after thanksgiving when he got into his vehicle and then hit the car carrying kevin dalley and his daughter emily. they both died at the scene. patrick: he's a career criminal who prosecutors say targeted women on their way to work in downtown milwaukee. as wisn 12 news' colleen henry reports, police say his latest crime spree started days after he got out of prison. >> seven years ago, melissa anderson was heading to work downtown when a man approached her in the parking lot. she shared her story by by phone. >> he came in between the vehicle saying i have a knife, get in your car and give me your

and tried to start her car. >> i was terrified. it's running through my head that he's going to take me to a secluded alley somewhere and leave me to die. >> but he couldn't drive her stick shift. police arrested ronald burrage that day. he served seven years for robbing her and two other women. this june, 20 nine days after his release from prison, police say burrage was back on this very same block and robbed a woman at knifepoint. in october, a second woman here third woman, using pepper spray. police executed a search warrant at this north side home where the suspect lived and say they found a can of pepper spray. they say he's a serial armed robber, terrorizing women. burrage's landlord didn't want her face on camera, but believes the police have the wrong guy. >> do you think someone would spend seven years and then do this again? he's smarter than that. if he were going to do some robberies, he would have hit a bank. >> burrage is now in the county

of 100 years. in milwaukee, colleen henry, wisn 12 news. patrick: burrage may also face additional time for violating his probation. joyce: how to best rehabilitate youth in milwaukee county. that was the topic of a county board meeting this morning. right now, troubled male offenders are sent to lincoln hills in irma in northern wisconsin. but that facility is under investigation for allegations of abuse and neglect. county supervisors today heard from those in the community who work with youth every day about incarceration. >> we don't want to just build another facility. we cannot keep doing the same thing over and over and failing our children measurably. we need to do something different, and it start from the top. joyce: the governor earlier this weeek said he's open to having the state help pay for a new juvenile corrections center in milwaukee county. giving milwaukee residents more options for snow plowing this winter. that's the goal behind a decision by the common council

starting next tuesday, the fee will drop from $50 to $10. the city will also compile a list of licensed contractors online. you can find more on wisn.com/links. patrick: if this cold weather has you thinking vacation, you now have a new, warmer, option out of mitchell international. frontier airlines launched a new non-stop route from milwaukee to phoenix, arizona. southwest and american also fly direct to phoenix. the very first frontier flight took off for sky harbor international this morning. the addition is part of ongoing efforts by frontier to expand its network. the high temperature today in phoenix was 67 degrees. mark, that's nearly 40 degrees warmer than what we had. mark: and they were probably complaining in phoenix that that was called because it was only 67 degrees. we hit a high of 29, the first time since march the third that we did not have a temperature

way. we will have more details on wisn 12 news this morning. >> staying as close to the guy, look at that parking lot, guy on a bike, whoa, hit a pedestrian right there. joyce: a suspected drunk driver led police on an hour-long chase through los angeles, nearly hitting someone on a bicycle. the chase ended when he got stuck on a side street and crashed with a pickup truck. the driver was taken into custody. uproar over an airport patdown. patrick: as abc's mat gutman reports, the woman battling breast cancer says the tsa went too far. denise albert, who's battling breast cancer, called this -- >> you can't touch me. you cannot touch me there. that was the part i was explaining. >> the most humiliating experience of her life. she says this officer patted her down aggressively, and when the officer gets to the front of her shirt -- >> i have breast cancer. i had a lumpectomy. i have a port in me. you can't touch me there.

a supervisor arrived, trying to explain what the agents need to do. >> we have to make sure there's nothing there. >> i lifted up my shirt and said there's nothing there. >> but albert alleges it just got worse. finally she said she felt compelled to take off her wig which she rarely does in public. , she posted about the ordeal on facebook. the tsa telling us tonight it eventually provided ms. albert with a private room for a screening. >> my whole point was to bring awareness to this so that it doesn't happen to other people. >> regrets any distress this may have caused her. it also said it's retraining the three officers who dealt with her, reminding every other officer at this airport of the proper procedure. patrick: former astronaut and u.s. senator john glenn is in the hospital tonight. it's unclear what condition he's in and what he's being treated for. the 95-year-old had a heart valve replacement in 2014. glenn became the first american to orbit earth in 1962.
