thousands of people to previous rallies----and has been spreading that message in ways his father never had available to him. social media----facebobo, twitter and even periscope. on his facebook page today, graham notes voters are heading to the polls in new hampshire. he says it's been reported bernie sanders and donald trump are leading there but he says "...you never know, new hampshire may surprise the whole nation." graham says here in columbia he will tell both democrats and republicans that neither party can solve the problems faced by the country---only god can. graham has not endorsed a candidate---and in fact in december resigned from the gop saying he was disgusted by the party's support for a budget that provided funding for planned parenthood---even comparing that organization to nazis and joseph mengele. while he has not formally backed a candidate, reverend graham has said he agrees with donald trump in opposing negotiations with iran and trump's proposed ban on muslim immigration. the muslim ban position has drawn some complaints here today. a small group of protesters is on hand for what one calls a "silent interfaith witness" to express

27th. this thursday, 'pbs nehour' will host a debate for democratic presidential candidates. it'll be held at the university of wisconsin- milwaukee. it will broadcast nationwide on pbs stations at 9 pm. some famous faces are hitting college campuses in the midlands to get the word out to voters. this afternoon, actress angela bassett will be at s-c state and claflin universities as part of the "get out the vote" h-b-c-u tour. hillary clinton's campaign is supporting the program to rally students across the country. bassett will be at sc state at 2, followed by a visit to claflin at 4. meanwhile, actress vivica a. fox will make appearances at vorhees college, denmark technical college, and also here in columbia. tonight at 6:30 the south carolina "young professionals for hillary" will hold a happy hour event t kaminsky's on gervais street with fox as the featured guest. we're dealing with cold and wind across the midlands as we take a live look over the capital city

annual test of its lake murray dam inundation sirens. it's how the utility notifies people in the area about emergencies. but once again, today's sirens going off only served as a test. investigators are looking for the person who hit and killed a woman driving along kept going. they're now looking for a "purple commercial vehicle" discovered at the scene. the vehicle was traveling north and troopers believe the driver could be in north carolina or virginia. troopers say because of the crash there should be noticeable damage to the left front side of the vehicle. call crimestoppers at 1- 888-crime-sc if you have any information. every year, wis partners with b106.7 for a radiothon to raise money for miracles at palmetto health children's hospital. phone lines are open right now. this year -- all of the proceeds are going directly to a fun place that will be built for children who have extended stays at the hospital. our michal higdon explains...

:08 :17 :44 :52 1:14 1:26 1:33 palmetto health wants to build a specialized playground for kids it would help children -- like eli adams -- who was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of leukemia back in march of 2015. before being diagnosed, eli's mom, robyn, tells me he was an extremely active 10-year-old boy. he loved sports, especially baseball, basketball, and kickball. once he was diagnosed with cancer, he was forced to slow his movement -- but still found ways to play during his stay at the hospital for two and a half months. robyn says having a playground atatthe hospital would have been amazing -- especially for kids like eli. robyn adams: ""where did you spend all your time, doing what?" "playing." "playing what?" "video games." "and where did you want to play video games? did you ever want to play them in

crashed head-on in the southern german state of bavaria this morning...and the death toll is expected to rise nbc's laura a uirre reports. the first rescue units were on the scene within three minutes of receiving emergency calls, but with a river on one side and a forest on the other, it took hours to reach some of the injured in the wreckage. rescue crews using helicopters and small boats shuttled injured passengers to the other side of the river to waiting ambulances. authorities said they were taken to hospitals across southern bavaria. the german transport minister said the two passenger trains were on a curve and it appears that neither had time to

an open wendy's drive- thru window. officers say if happened in october, but the man was only recently taken into custody. they say 23-year-old joshua james pulled up to the drive-thth for his order and after a server handed over a drink and turned around james reached into the back of his truck and tossed the 3-and-a- half foot gator through the window. his parents say the incident was a harmless prank, that has been blown out of proportion.
