1:16-1:32 behind me is what is left of sugar hill mobile home park, more than 150 homes now just piles of ruble. some of them thrown blocks from where they were originally. two people died here, more than 30 were hospitalized, seven of those critical. and they have been searching for three people missing who may be trapped in the ruble. a desperate search for survivors.. hope nearly lost. some 150 mobile homes.. ripped to shreds. trucks twisted like toys..a neighborhood wiped off the map.. dozens were injured.. many of them pulled from the rubble.. barely alive. s/ colonel michael edmonson/louisiana state police "we're asking for calm for this we're asking for

needs that." some 19 million people were at risk during round one of the massive winter storm. all the way to pensacola, florida.. where this neighborhood took a direct hit. nat: "we just held on to each other said maybe we'll make it maybe we won't" overall.. there were overturned semi trucks, a gutted gold's gym.. and thomas howard.. who watched a tornado blow right convent, louisiana.. nobody is giving up yet.. now the search will resume for those three people still missing and the clean up will also be began as this severe weather i'm jacob rascon in southeast louisiana, back to you now to southwest georgia....where people are cleaning up in the light of day. here's raycom news network's andrew gorton with a look at the damage there. storms rolled through southwest georgia overnight causing damage to plenty of trees, all over southwest georgia. we have seen where they have had to clear the roadways of trees, downed powerlines as well. we have also seen a mobile home that was picked up and moved two feet off of its foundation. as well as huge uprooted trees.

the palmetto state out of poverty. he said if elected president he wants to address this crisis. recapping on what he's previously said and that's his push to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour with that he veered into a laundry list of issues he thinks the u.s faces when it comes to poverty. hillary clinton has two stops in the midlands this afternoon. this afternoon she'll be in west columbia at an open-to-the-public luncheon at the brookland baptist conference center. that is scheduled to start at 2:15 later in the day, clinton will be in sumter to speak at a morris college event. for the republicans, donald trump came out as the winner in last night's wild-west showdown in the nevada caucus. as the g-o-p duked it out there, the democrats were answering questions here in midlands. reid binion has more. :00 - :03 :28 - :32 :38 - :40 :46 - :57 1:10 - 1:15 "now we're winning winning winning the country." donald trump rode to victory in the nevada caucuses tuesday.... county voter registration office until 5 p-m on friday. after the democratic primary here, there are just a few days until "super tuesday." next tuesday, 12 states including georgia, alabama, and tennessee will hold primaries. after the dust settles on tuesday night, the delegate count could give a clear picture of the nominee in both parties. before super tuesday, cnn will host one more republican debate. that's on thursday at 8:30 from houston, texas. we have extensive coverage of the democratic primary and the preparations for super tuesday from both sides on wis-tv-dot-com. just click on the specail decision 2016 section. right now, the state's roads bill is stuck as senator tom davis continues to filibuster. davis spent nearly seven hours on the senate floor yesterday, his third full day blocking the bill. he wants senators to change how the board that governs the department of transportation is appointed before giving the agency more money. lawmakers have yet to call for a vote to sit davis down. there are more than 200 amendments to the bill to

a new plan for the confederate battle flag that used to fly outside the state house could move the confederate relic room and military museum to the lowcountry. the state house ways and means committee unanimously advanced a proposal analysis of available museum space in charleston. the museum's governing board has spending more than 3 million dollars to renovate the museum and create an exhibit for the flag. south carolina house lawmakers have unanimously approved legislation that aims to help the state's tax agency reduce income tax fraud. that vote moves the deadline for businesses to send employees wage documents to the revenue department up by a month to january 31st. businesses are already required to send employees w-2 statements by that same date. state officials say this legislation is key in combating tax refund fraud. public and private entities across south carolina are now planning to work together to fend off cyber

governor nikki haley was on hand today for the official launch of 's-c cyber.' the new state wide initiative includes the help of u-s-c, ibm the state national guard along with other partners. the university will be on the front lines of enlisting experts and providing training to prevent cyber crimes for state offices --- as well as industry big and small. governor haley said training to prevent hacks has become a routine for several state departments. this comes after the state department of revenue was hacked in 2012. "we're constantly trying to break in to every one of our systems to see how full proof it is.because what we have to remember is those who that attack never stop trying and so if that's the case we can never stop working to make sure we keep things safe." across the state about 2,300 people are employed in the cyber security field. u-s-c president harris pastides says he expects that number will grow under the

deputies investigating complaints of drug activity in orangeburg county led to the man. investigators say they were patrolling an area at broken arrow and old number six highway near eutawville last week. they noticed a car in a parking lot and questioned the people inside. isiah williams admitted having drugs in the center console, deputies found about four ounces of marijuana. williams was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. bond was set at $7,500 next on the news at noon... a new investigation after more than a dozen reports of the zika virus in the u-s break one going back to the old neighborhood can be hard sometimes. walls have been built invisibly around the old neighborhood

person's system and still be the agency continues to warn pregnant women and women who may become pregnant to avoid the areas. up until now doctors believed only a small number of patients have contracted zika through sexual transmissions. now - the c-d-c is urging all men who have been to zika areas to abstain from sex when they return to the u-s or use condoms...especially if there partner is pregnant. dr william schaffner, infectious disease specialist at vanderbilt medical center ws: take the appropriate precautions, so they don't get zika infection and they might be pregnant at the same time. brazil families are now coping with caring for their children diagnosed with microcephaly...the rare birth defect associated with abnormally small heads and brains, thought to be linked to the virus... and causing anxiety among athletes preparing for the olympics in rio this summer -- some athletes have already indicated they may avoid the games altogether. nat: fumigating latin america and the caribbean

"i was shocked! i was like what was that? you have a bomb in your pocket? i was like that! you carry your bomb in your pocket? i was totally shocked and just like this my hands were on my head." the man had second degree burns on his leg and with help was able to get to the hospital. in your consumer news, amazon is moving into the clothing industry.

website for a while, but now amazon doesn't just want to sell cloths it wants to make them too. retail analyst with key banc, a corporate financing company, reports amazon will introduce several private label clothing brands and started selling them on their website. the different brands are making everything from men's dress shoes and suits to women's dresses and handbags. amazon has not confirmed the move. mastercard says it will soon officially launch a new i-d verification, specifically facial recognition. the company's new program is called "mastercard identity check", it's already become known as "self- pay." instead of memorizing a password or spend time resetting a password, mastercard identity check uses facial biometrics and fingerprints. using an app from mastercard users will take a quick selfie to verify purchases made online. to keep people from stealing your picture and using it for verification, mastercard uses an algorithm that requires users to blink while taking the selfie.
