governor nikki haley was on hand today for the official launch of 's-c cyber.' the new state wide initiative includes the help of u-s-c, ibm the state national guard along with other partners. the university will be on the front lines of enlisting experts and providing training to prevent cyber crimes for state offices --- as well as industry big and small. governor haley said training to prevent hacks has become a routine for several state departments. this comes after the state department of revenue was hacked in 2012.
