the city of columbia is getting nearly 20 million, richland county will get almost over 23 million and then palmetto state will get the remaining nearly 97 million. over in west columbia -- the moffatt street section of the riverwalk has been re-opened after being closed due to flooding. city personnel have worked quickly to clear the walkway after recent flood waters subsided. the amphitheater and nearby walkways are open to the public. remaining closed portions of the park are located from the 100 block of sunset boulevard to the gervais street bridge and the southernmost portion of the park near the 800 block of alexander road. these sections have been closed since the floods back in october and will remained closed until all repairs have been completed. we are following a developing story in richland county... where county councilman kelvin washington faces felony dui charges after rear- ending a car over the weekend. highway patrol troopers say washington was driving drunk saturday night when he rear-ended another vehicle on bluff road in hopkins.

highs in the lower 60s falling under a boil water advisory. city of columbia water works says customers on south ott street from edmond drive to live oak street need to boil their water for at least a minute before drinking or cook with it. crews are working to fix a six inch water main break. as the sec champs are coming off their 16 and oh victory in the sec... the gamecocks are now looking ahead to open play at the 2016 sec women's basketball tournament in the quarterfinals. but before they head to the sunshine state -- the team is holding a celebration this evening so they can share this milestone with their fans.

that's also the number to call to help richland county investigators find who's responsible for a stabbing over the weekend. deputies were called out to the 19- hundred block of heyward brockington road in columbia. a man had reportedly been stabbed in the upper body. richland county officials say the victim is still in the hospital, but is in stable condition. over the weekend voters in south carolina took to the polls for the state's democratic primary and gave hillary clinton a big win and big momentum heading into super tuesday. after the polls closed on saturday-- reports say she clinched the democratic primary win by a resounding margin. with all precincts reporting, clinton took 73 percent of the vote to bernie sanders, who ended up with 26 percent. more than a dozen states are up for grabs on tomorrow. the primaries are nicknamed the "sec primary" because so many of those states have teams in college football's southeastern conference. tennessee, texas and arkansas.
