car slammed into the other vehicle. the driver of that second car suffered a severe head injury, his passenger had minor injuries. according to the report, washington failed a field sobriety test at the hospital e-r. thth trooper says he was forced to get a search warrant because washington refused to volunatrily provide a blood sample. richland county investigators now have a suspect for the murder of a person found dead in a crashed vehicle. 17-year-old jose reyes is charged with the murder of 18 year old jaelen josey. according to investstators, reyes shot and killed josey after an attempted armed robbery on seton hall drive last night.. they say reyes and the victim knew each other. richland county deputies found josey with a gunshot wound to the upper body in his crashed vehicle. we'll get an update on your weather next. for that we turn to

southeastern conference season awards. the gamecocks took home half of the conference's individual awards a'ja wilson won both player of the year and defensive player of the year, after winning freshman of the year last year. coach dawn staley named coach of the year. wilson along with teammates alaina coates and tiffany mitchell were three of the eight players on the first team all-sec. no south carolina players were named to the second team or the all-freshman team. wilson is among five players on the all- defensive team. the awards are chosen by the league's 14 coaches. for the first time this season -- the south carolina baseball team is on the road.
