plane. officials say the brazilian soccer team was heading to colombia for a regional tournament final. the south american soccer federation has canceled all activities until further notice. its a countdown until the recount! if its going to happen -- today is the deadline for the jill stein campaign to come up with the money. derica williams joins us from city hall with the very latest theres now a price tag for a recount of the presidential election in wisconsin: three-poit stein campaign has until today to pay it. as for how the recount would be conducted, thats bit more complicated. right now, the state elections commission is letting each county decide whether to do it by hand or by machine. the stein campaign has asked a dane county judge to order that all ballots be recounted by hand. the racine county clerk is planning to do mostly by machine but will recount the receipts from touch-screen machines be hand. she says it would take longer if everything

off and instead of counting that set of ballots and matching it with the number of voters in the poll book, youre counting it two or three times instead and that does kind of hold us up. the milwaukee county clerk says having the recount by hand could jeopardize making the december 12 deadline. the dane county clerk says theyll do it by hand regardless since the stein campaign is worried about the possibility the machines were hacked. a we talked to though...say such a hack is extremely unlikely since the machines arent connected to the internet. if all goes as planned, the wisconsin election commission timeline is for the recount to begin this thursday at 9 am. the first wisconsin recount observer training will be conducted this evening at 6:30. new this morning a nationwide movement, fighting for a raise

workers across the country-- including here in milwaukee-- are seeking a 15- dollar-an-hour wage. angelica joins us in studio with more. right now, in milwaukee county - the minimum wage will be gradually increased to $15 dollars an hour in 2022. earlier this morning-- workers will rally at the mcdonald's at ninth and north. then at one, workers and community leaders will rally at city hall. there's also a protest planning for this evening at five o'clock. community leaders and elected officials mcdonald's on miller park way. "if you're working a decent job, if you're working 40 hours a week, you shouldn't have to struggle, you shouldn't have to worry about if i'm gonna pay the rent, or how i'm gonna feed my kids if you're working 40 hours a week if you spend more time at work than you do at home you should be able to come home relax and enjoy yourself. you should be able to come home and not have to stress about anything" and part of that fight for 15 - hundreds of workers at chicago's o'hare international

strike... also --- hundreds of uber drivers are also planning to join today's movement. the group 'fight for 15' says uber drivers in several cities will idle their cars and march with other industry workers. police are investigating an arson in bay view that happened on thanksgiving night. officials say around 11-30 thursday night, suspects set fire to the back of a home on east dover street. a neighbor tells fox 6 he saw the flames. he joined his dad in trying to wake the family. man helped the seven family members get out... "15:01 everyone was coughing. i was even coughing and i was just standing right there in front of the house 04 there was a lot of smoke inside the house too 06" neighbors tell fox 6 there was another fire just two blocks away the same night. police say they are working to determine if the arson is related to any other recent incidents in the area. charges have been filed against the racine man accused of driving drunk and causing a double fatal crash

in the case.he was allegedly drunk when he got behind the wheel friday night. prosecutors say he rear-ended kevin dalley's vehicle in caledonia. dalley and his 9-year-old daughter were both killed. his 6-year-old daughter was also injured in the crash. ruohonen's bond is set at 50-thousand dollars. the packers-- finally coming home with a win. they snapped the longest losing streak since 2008 at 4 games. part..putting up an mvp-like performance.. packers win 27-13 to up their record to 5 and 6. they're now 29 and oh when leading after 3 quarters..tops in the nfl. we'll hear from the team coming up at 8- 30. meantime, the green and gold host

and breaking right now ---- three gatlinburg-area resorts appear to have been destroyed by the growing blaze. at least 14 fires are burning in and around eastern tennessee -- theflames are fueled by strong winds and the southeast's worst drought in nearly a decade. the wildfire has also spread to the edge of the dollywood theme park --- but it's not one of the resorts destroyed. the national guard has been activated to help with firefighting and evacuation efforts. over three decades, the popular m "la cahge o fol" has won 11 tony awards. skylight music theatre is bringing that decorated show to milwaukee, and carl is giving us a taste of the colorful

the packers losing streak is over --- after a big win against the eagles last night. but there was an interesting moment during the game that has a lot of people talking online. quarterback aaron rodgers disappeared behind a tent for a few plays last night. there was some concern over whether or not he was injured. he addressed the moment after

we're following breaking news this morning out of colombia. an overnight plane crash kills more than seventy people -- including members of a brazilian soccer team. police say only six people survived the crash--- but one later died at the hospital. investigators are looking at an electrical problem as a possible cause of the crash. the timeline for the tally has been set and today is the day that we will know if there will be a presidential recount. fox 6s live from city hall with the latest developments. today is the deadline for green party candidate jill stein to pay the 3 and a half million dollar estimated cost by this afternoon or the whole thing is off. she says she has the money. as of now, president-elect donald trump leads hillary clinton by 22-thousand votes in wisconsin. stein got barely 1 percent of the vote. county clerks are expecting to start

will have until december 12th to finish. the state is up against a december 13th deadline to have the results of the recount certified, and elections officials say that will be a challenge in some counties. its going to reassure wisconsin voters that we have a fair system, that were not counting illegal votes, were not counting dead peoples votes monday, stein sued the wisconsin elections commission in dane county court, asking a judge to order county clerks to count ballots by clerks will be able to hand-count or feed the ballots through voting machines, which is faster. the commission rejected claims that wisconsin's voting machines were hacked. members say that would be impossible, because the machines aren't hooked up to the internet. as for the, the first wisconsin recount observer training that will be conducted tonight at 6:30 in muskego. .

politics. vice president elect mike pence told reporters yesterday that a big announcement was in the works. angelica joins us from the newsroom with the details. president elect donald trump expected to announce more cabinet picks today... including- according to a source - georgia representative tom price as health and human services secretary. price is a former orthopedic surgeon and an ardent obamacare critic. the appointment could be a nod to his campaign promise to repeal the affordable care act. the president-elect is still meeting with contenders for state...including retired general david petraeus. other contenders for secretary of state include former republican nominee mitt romney, former house speaker newt gingrich and former new york city mayor rudy giuliani. kim and jessob. back to you. meanwhile-- milwaukee county sheriff david clarke meets with president-elect donald trump -- as he continues to fill cabinet positions. this is video of his arrival at trump tower yesterday. clarke's name had been bounced

plans are underway to celebrate music icon prince. the late artist will be honored during a four-day festival at his paisley park home. the event will take place april 20th to the 23rd. general admission tickets cost about 500 dollars...and you aren't allowed to take any pictures or videos. morris day and prince's band-- "the revolution" -- are expected to perform...with more artists to join the lineup. organizers say the festival will include panel on prince's influence on the music industry. prince died on april 21st this year. he was 57 years old. disney's latest movie "moana" number one at the box office after a long holiday weekend... and its soundtrack is likely to be one you'll remember, thanks to tony award winner lin-manuel miranda. fox kerin mccue sits down with the man behind the musical hit "hamilton" to learn about his inspiration for
