the roads saturday, then, the salt trucks went out on the main highways throughout the day, tackling secondary roads in the late afternoon and evening. there were a few crashes...including this one on northbound i-41 north of highway 60. a wisconsin state patrol trooper's squad was struck by a vehicle. thankfully he's going to be okay... most drivers though say they had no issues getting around. urban development oversees federal public housing programs and helps formulate policy on homelessness and housing discrimination. carson reportedly declined an offer for secretary of health and human services last month. the recount of the presidential election continues across the state today... 4 days of recounted votes are now in the books. but how much of an impact are we seeing? angelica joins us now with more. wisconsin crossed a milestone sunday in the election recount -- more than 1 million votes have now been counted up a second time. reported some or all of their results, president- elect donald trump has picked up about 40 more votes than hillary clinton. six counties have finished their recounts -- none in our area. in racine county, election inspectors are now just about halfway-through the count. the recount continues after a federal judge refused to immediately stop it on friday. the judge has scheduled a hearing for this friday to consider the request from two pro-trump groups.

shootout on i-43 last december expected to begin today. martez maclin-dyson was arrested following the incident along with 2 other people- corey campbell and lance lewis. dyson is also charged in connection with three previous shootings-- including the murder of tony vance in november of last year. the trial is expected to get underway at 9 this morning. a plan is brewing to redevelop milwaukees north side revolving around the long-dormant northridge mall site. alderwoman chantia lewis, who too partnership between the department of city development and u-w-milwaukees community solutions group. their goal is to think 'outside of the box' and explore redevelopment ideas for milwaukees far north side. many businesses have left or relocated from the area near 76-th and brown deer road...including target, pick n save, half priced books and aldis. lewis calls the northridge site the 'gem' of all plans going forward... but it could also be the citys biggest stumbling block: the facility is privately owned by a chinese company.

he's looking to rent out this apartment ... so he posted an ad on craiglist. weeks later ... tanke discovered he wasn't the only person advertising his unit. it was a carbon copy of the ad that i put out. a scammer had taken his craigslist ad... copied it ... and re-posted it ... with a few changes. contact information. the price was 300 to 400 dollars less than what i was advertising for. um they were advertising for pets. scammer's post ... and took down his own ad. he even sent a message to the scammer ... asking if the apartment had been taken. he got a response ... telling him the apartment ... was still available. i asked to see it and they did not respond to that but apparently they have responded to other folks. contact 6 emailed the scammer ... and got a response from someone claiming to be "homer martinez"

... but it says homer's husband is being transferred to west africa ... and they're looking for "a clean and reliable person to take care of the home." i'm told i can drive by the address ... and if i like it ... they'll sent me an application. i send an email back asking to talk on the phone ... and get no response. tanke says he just wants buyers and renters to know ... this could happen to them. if this can help somebody to not fall for a scam, that's the reason i did it. if you're looking to rent an apartment ... never deal with a person who won't talk with you on the phone ... or won't let you tour the apartment before you put money down. when checking out an apartment ... take uneasy or unsure at any point ... back out. i'm jenna sachs. contact 6. contact 6 reached out to craigslist for comment on this story ... but did not hear back. the eleven 25 development in the old pabst brewery may be college housing, but the food is available to everyone. and it looks really good. carl is trying it all out for us at the new food court --

markets in the country... but one of its iconic neighborhoods is getting full. the creator of the "full house" series... jeff franklin... just bought the home featured in the show... for 14 million dollars. franklin says he hadn't been in the house in 30 years... because after the original shoot in 19-87, the homeowner wouldn't let them back in. franklin won't live in the house.. but he is planning to film some new scenes for the spinoff series "fuller house" and might even rent the property in the future. the second season of "fuller house" hits netflix friday. the force appears to e texas police department. officials are looking to recruit their next police academy class with a little help from "star wars". in this case, a stormtrooper tries to prove he's police material in this recruitment video. take a look. nat sound cop: "finally." stormtrooper: "you know what, i don't need you to ... milwaukee's department of public works got an early start on sunday's snow... and it's paying off this morning deandra corinthios is live off i-94 in west allis with a look at conditions for your morning commute the d-p-w tackled main streets first - then the secondary roads. most...are wiped clean this morning. take a look at i-94...it's clear...but could be slick in some spots. works deployed 102 salt trucks for the first snow of the season crews had pre treated the roads on saturday. by sunday afternoon most of the main roads were clear and dpw started working on the side streets. by the evening...all the roads had seen a plow come through. conditions were worse west of the city... a state trooper's squad was truck on i-41 northbound north

has been at the center of the protests over the construction of the pipeline. they argue it could compromise their water supply and threaten several cultural sites. when the announcement was made -- celebrations broke out among the thousands of protesters on the site. officials are still trying to figure out what caused that deadly warehouse fire in oakland. at least 36 people have been confirmed dead. the fire broke out during a dance party late friday night. firefighters are removing debris very slowly... trying to avoid a building collapse and protect evidence. investigators still don't know what caused the fire... but inhabitants of the warehouse -- known as the "ghost ship" -- say the building had been carved into artist studios and was an illegal home for about a dozen people. they say the building was cluttered and had few exits. president-elect donald trump is once again taking to twitter -- lashing out at critics and taking china to task -- all while his transition team continues to build an administration. and as doug luzader reports from washington this morning, the
