9. after nearly six months, "that video shows he killed my son" we finally see the moment a wauwatosa police officer opens fire on jay anderson "when he investigated he observed a semi automatic handgun on the front seat."that officer -- now cleared of any wrongdoing "i have two kids by him that would never know him. never."no looking to the feds for criminal charges. tonight - for the first time we are seeing dash cam video from the early morning hours of june 23rd in wauwatosa's madison park. jay anderson - shot and killed by a police officer. that officer - will not face charges. we have team coverage .tonight - bret lemoine with more on the decision - and brittany shannon with the

there are no other witnesses to the shooting other than the officer... and a short video clip. the video itself... has been enhanced by the f-b-i to provide an even clearer picture. its only 28 seconds of video... bw 'justifiably used deadly force in this incident.' ...but its enough to help back up wauwatosa police officer joseph mensahs account of this june 23-rd shooting. were freezing the video right before shots are fired, but police chief barry weber says i procedure from the moment he arrived at the scene. bw 'the park closes at 10 oclock, if there are vehicles in there after hours, officers are supposed to investigate to see whats going on.' weber says mensah confronted jay anderson, who was asleep in his car. anderson was asked to up his hands up after the officer noticed a gun on the passenger seat. bw 'that weapon turned out to be a ruger 9mm loaded with 16 rounds of ammunition and one in the chamber.' mensah called for backup... '305. suspect in the vehicle has a gun.' bw 'on several occasions, the

the gun was located.' mensah says he was fearful anderson might grab the gun... and shot anderson six times. immediately after the shots were fired, mensah remotely activated the camera in his squad, which retroactively records 20 seconds prior to hitting the button. the only thing that police in fox lake and the dodge county sheriff's office are saying right now is that it's a death investigation. though officials aren't saying much-- neighbors believe a man shot and killed his girlfriend before taking off-- just a couple months after moving into the area. one neighbor says he heard something last night but gave it little thought at first. i heard a pop and that was about five minutes, ten minutes before i left but i didn't think anything of it because of the hunting season around here. officials say they're now looking for a dark blue if you have any information-- call the dodge county sheriff's office. it's been seven weeks since she was shot while she was lying in her bed.. the shooter or shooters are still on the loose. and now a milwaukee homeowner wants to move. she spoke exclusively to our justin williams. we're particularly patient ... remembering it always makes me upset, so ... a little teary, so ... ...

area. monday marks some seven weeks since a shooting, near the milwaukee intersection of 20th and brown, all the sudden, we heard a lotta gun play--more than usual. sends millie and donald tucker to their bedroom floor. my husband was like, 'get off the bed!' and, so, he rolled, one way, i rolled the other way, and i'm like, 'uhh!' ... i got hit. she was real calm--cool, calm, collected, she said, to make me calm--so i wouldn't go crazy, you know? blood, all over it. i said, 'honey, get a towel 'n' stop the bleeding--get me to the hospital.' he does, and she remains hospitalized for nearly two weeks, undergoing four, separate surgeries. monday, it was scary--comin' back to the home. she continues to recover, in the same house she and her husband

feared he too could lose his life. at first i thought i might get shot.last sunday afternoon... the 67-year-old was placing a wreathe at his parents graves in valhalla cemetery near 91st and silver spring... when he says two young man appeared out of nowhere and demanded johlke turn over his car keys. they knew what they were doing. they must have done it before. johlke says he called for help while one of the men began shocking him with a stun gun. hey s bash my mouth if i didn't shut up. finally, they came over and tore the pocket of my pants, and there the car keys were. and tore my pants all the way down. and then they drove out of the main entrance. milwaukee police say the scary ordeal is one of two vehicle thefts reported at the cemetery within the last month. you dont think about that. its not even in your mind. wauwautosa police have since arrested a 16-year-old male and recovered the car from the

on track to finish the work on time by the state deadline of december 12th. meanwhile - the michigan republican party is appealing a judge's order that forced an immediate recount in the presidential race in that state. a federal judge in detroit told state officials today to get the recount moving to meet a the december 13th federal deadline. meanwhile, michigan's appeals court will hear arguments tomorrow on president-elect trump's request to halt the recount there. governor scott walker is in the the governor announced on twitter that he was overseas visiting u.s. troops. he's part of a delegation of governors invited by the department of defense. the trip ends friday. tomorrow is a big day in madison for the state transportation department's proposed budget -- it slashes major projects in milwaukee and racine counties because there isn't enough money. political reporter theo keith has new information on the
