medical examiner reports say anderson had alcohol and marijuana in his system at the time. much more testing and investigation went on until yesterday's district attorney decision to not issue charges against the officer. fox6 has covered this case extensively. to read our past stories or to watch the entire dash camera video of the shooting -- visit fox6 now dot com or the fox6 news app. three people have been charged in connection to a dod "sesalie dixon" was found dead inside a truck -- parked in the garage of a fox lake home sunday. according to prosecutors -- she was killed by her boyfriend "laverne ware." the two other people are charged with harboring or aiding a felon -- as they allegedly let ware park his truck in their garage. prosecutors say they also knew about the death for nearly a day before they called police. an update now in the case of the 7-year- old boy milwaukee boy

the medical examiner's office says trevion winningham -- pictured in this photo from a few years ago -- will be buried in arkansas. family members claimed his body monday. winningham died last tuesday -- after suffering from numerous injuries related to abuse and malnutrition. 44-year-old etter hughes and 47-year- old mary martinez were both arrested in the case. a 9-year-old boy was also hospitalized ... with similar injuries. of burleigh street in milwaukee... and took several hours to resolve. fox six's beverly taylor is live at police district 5 with details. it happened at 13th and burleigh. milwaukee police were looking for a homicide suspect. fortunately, this incident ended peacefully. it started about 11 a.m. passersby started gathering after noticing the commotion... a police barricade on burleigh

vehicle arrived... m.p.d. officers in protective gear, carrying shields natasha williams says she was taking it all in..even seeing detectives at the back of the house. 'we heard them talk to someone through the door. and they told him to call his parents, call your mom and dad. so we knew someone was in there. they said they tried to get in because i asked the police officer and he said we cant get in because he has it barricaded very well.' :54they were looking for a 19- year-old homicide suspect. after continuous negotiation...one of 45 minutes later the rest of the occupants came out - one by one. nat there were several dogs also taken from the house. madacc, the animal control agency, was there to take them away. one resident told us the street is usually quiet, but very

whats going on. ted thanks bev milwaukee police need your help identifying the man who robbed a jimmy john's on marquette's campus overnight. it happened at the store near 15th and wells. police say the man implied he had a weapon. minutes before that -- it's believed the same suspect also tried to rob the "real chili." in that case -- he ran off without getting believed to be in his 40's. several counties in our area have finished or are close to finishing their presidential election recounts. ozaukee, walworth, and dodge counties are officially done. counties like washington and sheboygan should be finishing very soon. milwaukee, waukesha, and racine all still have lots of ballots to count. despite all that -- the wisconsin elections commission says all counties are on track to finish

out-of-state conferences. a lemon law conference in san diego, which i guess is a nice place to visit but i dont know why we need to do that yet secretary mark gottlieb defended the travel. he says it costs the state about 250- thousand dollars a year and his staff learns a lot. i dont know if your constituents would rather have their bridges designed by bridge engineers or legislators... i guess thats a question you can ask them too no dollar amount avoids scrutiny with a billion-dollar shortfall. governor scott wa in southeast wisconsin to deal with it. walker opposes new taxes or fees to pay for roads. putting him at odds with assembly republicans. the budget includes enough money to keep the zoo interchange on track. but tuesday, gottlieb revealed that, at current funding levels.... it will take 70 years to finish six other planned mega-projects. those six include most of the interstates in the metro area. the governors made a determination that this is not the right time to raise taxes and fees on wisconsin families and businesses. i think what the assembly is asking, when will the right time be to have the conversation? this was just an informal hearing. lawmakers wont get to work on the budget until early

witnessing the next move in a continuing battle against opioid misuse, and heroin and fentanyl abuse--as they see these billboards--flashing, throughout southeastern wisconsin. it'll inform residents how to make a difference, in their own communities, and, most importantly, it has the capacity to save lives. the three, rotating messages include one -- highlighting the number of milwaukee county overdoses, so far, this year. another -- encouraging parents to discuss drugs with their children, and the third -- with dialing directions. the campaign comes collaboration between the drug enforcement agency, c-v-s health, hupy & abraham, and clear channel outdoor- milwaukee. this is the time to take action, and to be activists, to save our children. these billboards can be spotted as far west as fort atkinson, as far north as sheboygan, and as far south as just about the illinois border. the idea is to inspire southeastern wisconsin to create conversations around the opiod epidemic, and to take action--to do something to eliminate it. this is the latest, in milwaukee. i'm justin

final four games. this is pennels second suspension of the season. we'll have more coming up in sports. authorities in oakland are still investigating the massive fire inside a warehouse that killed at least 36 people on friday night. meanwhile, the outpouring of grief has gone nationwide - with communities sending help to the survivors and victims' families. fox's claudia cowan has more. combing through the remains of the warehouse where dozens of people died on friday night... when a fire broke out during a late- night dance party. the district attorney has said she's considering criminal charges against the building's manager... and police are promising a thorough investigation. watson

to continue the process until absolutely every piece of debris is removed from this building and every area has been searched." the building was being used as an artist collective called "the ghost ship" - with founder derick ion alemena converting the warehouse into illegal living spaces authorities say were unsafe. much of the anger - and attention - now focused on alemena, who says he's not even though the building was virtually impossible to escape. kelly says: "there's metal security screens, almost like grates that are bolted into the structure and so that would have prevented anyone from breaking out a window." meanwhile, the mourning process continues... with some still in shock - and others angry at the conditions that led to this tragedy. mos says: "15 minutes could have changed everything, coulda been in there with them and been trapped." mos says: "it's just not right that in order to keep a building safe you have to evict people." on-cam tag some community groups here are directing their anger at city building inspectors- saying the city should have done more to investigate conditions at the warehouse after months of complaints by neighbors. in

rcent of that budgasensearched 6 victims discovered-- 26 of their families have been notified. another 9 have been "tentatively identified." it's time for your news and weather together. police in oconomowoc are looking for the man who broke into a walgreens cash register -- while the store was open. it happened early saturday morning. police say the man used a screwdriver to unlock the register and took cash from the till. he took off in an older, dark-color vehicle. one man is hurt -- after a c highway 100. it happened just after five this morning near morgan avenue. police say a 33-year-old man ended up trapped inside the car. he was taken to froedtert hospital -- because of the severity of his injuries. the 54-year-old semi driver is cooperating with police. the state patrol is helping with the investigation. blizzard-like conditions descend on the dakota access protest site in north dakota. one protester says the snowy weather is just a test of everyone's beliefs,

we know it is that time of year" the red cross is prepared. and milwaukee firefighters are too. they encounter heavy flames at a home near 11th and wright early tuesday morning. there were no injuries...the home is vacant. an hour later...theyre at another house fire at 83rd and acacia. no one was home at the time of the blaze. and monday night...firefighters respond to an electrical fire near displaced but no one was hurt. "what we do is make sure they have food clothing and shelter" three fires...monday into tuesday in milwaukee from the south side to the north side...to the northwest side. a busy night -but the red cross says it responds to more fires over the holidays than any other time of year. president-elect trump is making another stop on his "thank you tour" tonight-- heading to north carolina to greet voters. before leaving-- mr. trump met with another slew of potential hires... while also blasting boeing airlines for the price of a new air-force-one. fox's joel waldman has more from washington. trump says: "i think it's doing a little bit of a number." making a surprise stop himself in the lobby of trump tower today, the president-elect taking issue with boeing, criticizing the american company's plan to charge, what he said was four-billion-dollars, for a new air-force-one. boeing responding, with a statement, saying, in part: "we are currently under contract for $170 million to help determine the capabilities of these complex military aircraft that serve the
