all day thursday. we stay cold into the weekend before we have a chance for accumulating snow on sunday. wednesday: mostly cloudy, blustery and cold. wind chills: teens. high: 28 wind: w 10-20 mph developing overnight... fire at all saints fellowship christian church. crews were called to the scene sometime after one this morning. no one was hurt in the blaze, but it did cause about 100-thousand dollars in damage to the building. officials are still looking into what caused the fire, but say it does look like it started inside the church. we'll have the latest in a live report coming up at five here on wakeup. also overnight-- a man is in the hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car. police say he walked into the

the victim was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. the driver remained on scene. police continue to investigate. a woman is recovering this morning after a hit and run.. but first-- cudahy police need your help in finding a man wanted for child enticement. angelica joins us from the newsroom with new information. police say that suspect approached a 13-year-old girl in his car three times yesterday while she was walking home. he was last seen yesterday afternoon on edgerton and swift avenue. police say he was making sexual baseball hat and driving a blue or gray 4-door sedan. if you know anything call cudahy police. meanwhile-- we're learning about a serious crash in west allis. police are investigating a hit and run. they say a woman was hit near 70th and national around 5-45 last night. the vehicle sped off. no word on the victim's condition. kim back to you. happening today-- the racine man accused of driving drunk and

25-year-old levi ruohonen faces several felony charges in the case.he was allegedly drunk when he got behind the wheel. prosecutors say he rear-ended kevin dalley's vehicle in caledonia. dalley and his 9-year-old daughter were both killed. his 6-year-old daughter was also injured in the crash. ruohonen's preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8-30 this morning. right now-- police are looking for a suspected robber wanted for taking cash from the jimmy john's on marquette's campus... man implying he has a weapon and demanding cash. he takes the money then flees on foot. it happened at the jimmy johns near 16th and wells monday night around 10-30. "15:29 its in the heart of campus and its kind of concerning a little more that it happened here where were all walking around late at night 15:35" milwaukee police are asking anyone who knows the suspect to call police. marquette university says they always advise students to use

at night. police arrest three people in connection with a fox lake woman's death. 36-year-old laverne ware junior is accused of hiding a corpse. his mother and her boyfriend are accused of aiding a felon. the dodge county sheriff's office says the victim is ware junior's girlfriend. according to court documents, she was found dead in ware junior's pick up truck and there was a lot of blood in his garage. a murder suspect is taken into custody after milwaukee's north side. this was the scene near 13th and burleigh yesterday. m-p-d officers in protective gear and u-s marshals responded. police say it took two and half hours to coax the 19 year old suspect out of the home. one day after a decision was announced that a wauwatosa police officer would not face criminal charges-- police say they've received death threats. they are taking them seriously and investigating their origin. meanwhile, we're getting a look at documents from the

police officer-- says he saw a car parked in madison park. since the park was closed, he went to investigate. this squad video shows officer mensah firing his gun six times into the car. mensah told milwaukee police homicide detectives he approached the car in the park. "he observed the driver was breathing fast as if nervous or scared. mensah also says he "felt the driver was faking being asleep." the officer says anderson reached for a gun he could see on the passenger seat and that's when officer mensah fired, killing anderson. was found at the scene. fox6 has covered this case extensively. to read our past stories or to watch the entire dash camera video of the officer-involved shooting -- visit fox6 now dot com or the fox6 news app. attorneys for brendan dassey have filed new court documents. it's the latest step in their attempts to get him freed from prison. dassey was convicted of helping his uncle steven avery kill

out that conviction -- saying dassey was coerced into confessing. but the state appealed that decision to the 7th circuit court of appeals. yesterday's briefing outlines dassey's case. the state will respond in 2 weeks. waukesha county has hit a milestone in the presidential recount. kn 'weve actually started the city of waukesha!' the county is now processing votes cast in the city of waukesha - thats the largest ci of votes. theyre ahead of schedule for one big reason: a high speed ballot-counting machine arrived on monday. it can count 5-thousand ballots per hour! waukesha county will begin shorter recount hours starting tonight-- instead of processing votes from 9 a-m until midnight, they will stop at 10 tonight. meanwhile just a day after the recount started in michigan-- it may be over. a federal judge in detroit has called for a hearing today to

here's a story you'll only see on fox6. watch your animals! a family pet goes missing in the city, suspected of being killed by something very wild. our ben handelman, with why experts say coyotes are becoming more aggressive. for hours— nats in vogel park near appleton and stark nats blaine hampton and his wife tanya have been searching nats for disappeared in the middle of the night. my dog let me know he had to go out and use the restroom. hampton say he let barely let his 6 year old dog chico out of his sight— when he heard a noise, and the dog did not return. once i called out his name, he didnt respond to me at all. hampton believes he knows who the culprit is— coyotes are out here running around. you never think it would happen to you. but it happened to me this morning. these type of attacks are going to be more frequent i believe this time of year. matthew snorek of guaranteed gone pest and wildlife control is warning

more than 50 people have died and dozens are hurt after an earthquake in indonesia. the six-point-four magnitude quake struck the island nation early this morning. officials say the quake is not expected to trigger a tsunami but the tremor did cause extensive damage buildings. indonesia sits on a fault line so earthquakes are fairly common. new details this morning about a deadly warehouse fire in oakland, california. we are now learning a refrigerator or other appliance may have sparked the fire that killed 36 people friday night. crews so far have searched 90-percent of the building for victims. chief teresa deloach reed: "we will be out here until we can definitely say that we have searched that entire structure and there are

early to say for sure the refrigerator started the blaze...but say it was a potential source of ignition. and investigators say it doesn't look like the fire was deliberately set. the fire happened last weekend, during an electronic music party at the warehouse. the man accused of shooting and killing former chiefs running back joe mcknight is behind bars. ronald gasser is charged with manslaughter. it comes five days after the shooting. police say mcknight three times during a traffic dispute in new orleans. even with that admission, police let gasser go free last week, pending further investigation. gasser is due back in court in two weeks. former n-f-l running back and heisman trophy winner, rashaan salaam, is found dead. his body was discovered in a park in boulder, colorado. and now investigators are saying there were no signs of foul play. the cause of death will be determined in an autopsy. salaam won the

of colorado. he was picked for the chicago bears in 1995, and played for the cleveland browns and packers in 1999. he was 42 years old. more than a dozen students at a chicago area high school -- recovering from the effects of eating drug-tainted gummy bears. angelica joins us from the newsroom with new information. gummy bears, laced with drugs sends 14 suburban high school students to the hospital. emergency crews responded to naperville north high school in the middle of the dizzy, they had dry mouth and a rapid heart rate. they're expected to be okay. police say it looks the candy was spiked with liquid marijuana. they've taken a 17-year-old student into custody, and hope to get useful information from those who got sick. no classes were canceled or delayed. kim back to you. today, the nation marks the 75-th anniversary of the japanese attack on pearl harbor. 24 hundred people died at pearl harbor that day, and more than eleven hundred were hurt.

minister will visit the memorial.. he will accompany president obama to the site at the end of the month. the men and women who served on that "date which will live in infamy" almost are all gone. the youngest survivors would be in their 90's today. seaworld is cutting hundreds of jobs amid plunging attendance at its theme parks. seaworld entertainment says 320 jobs will be eliminated at all 12 of its parks. the cuts are part of efforts to reduce costs by about 65 million dollars. the company has strug the release of the 20-13 documentary "black-fish", which highlighted the dangers of holding killer whales in captivity. seaworld recently announced it would no longer hold such animals in captivity and phase out killer whale shows at its parks. a-t-and-t and time warner are scheduled for a senate hearing today on their proposed merger. the companies first announced the 85- billion dollar deal in october. a-t-and-t specializes on wireless and internet service... merging with time warner would allow the company to expand into
