on sunday. fire officials estimate damage to the church is about 100 thousand dollars reporting live in milwaukee dc fox6 news a man is in critical condition this morning after being hit by a car overnight. milwaukee police say the 61-year-old walked into the street near hampton and appleton around eleven last night...and then was hit by a car. the driver stayed on scene. the man was taken to the hospital..and we're told he has several serious injuries. police continue to investigate. investigating a hit and run crash. we're told a woman was hit near 70th and national last night...and the vehicle took off. no word on the condition of the victim...or a description of the suspect's vehicle at this time. later today --- the racine man accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that killed two people is expected in court. 25-year-old levi ruohonen faces several felony charges in the case.he was allegedly drunk when he got behind the wheel. prosecutors say he rear-ended kevin dalley's vehicle in caledonia. dalley and his 9-year-old

his 6-year-old daughter was also injured in the crash. ruohonen's preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8-30 this morning. happening now --- cudahy police are looking for a man wanted for child enticement. and an armed robbery at a restaurant on marquette university's campus is under investigation. nicole is in the newsroom with details. police are looking for a suspected robber wanted for taking cash from the jimmy john's on marquette's campus... this surveillance video shows a man implying he has a weapon and demanding cash. he takes the mone happened at the jimmy johns near 16th and wells monday night around 10-30. and a child enticement case in cudahy also under investigation. the suspect was last seen yesterday afternoon on edgerton and swift avenue. police say he approached a 13- year-old girl in his car three times while she was walking home. and he made sexual comments. he's was last seen wearing a baseball hat and driving a blue or gray 4-door sedan. if you have any information on both of these cases --- call

lead up to the fatal officer-involved shooting in wauwatosa. monday -- officials announced that the officer would not face charges in the death of jay anderson. angelica joins us with the latest. wauwatosa police say since the milwaukee county district attorney made his ruling monday -- they've received death threats. they are taking them seriously and investigating their origin. meanwhile, we're getting a look at the 180 pages of documents from the milwaukee police investigation. they describe the day of june 23d shortly after three a-m when joseph mensah, a black officer on routine patrol. he says he saw a car parked in madison park. since the park was closed, he went to investigate. this squad video shows officer mensah firing his gun six times into the car. five bullets hitting jay anderson. in an interview with milwaukee police homicide detectives who were called to investigate, mensah said he approached the car in the park. "he observed the driver was breathing fast as if nervous or scared. mensah also says he "felt the driver was

reached for a gun he could see on the passenger seat and that's when officer mensah fired, killing anderson. a gun with jay anderson's dna was found at the scene. attorneys for brendan dassey have filed new court documents. it's the latest step in their attempts to get him freed from prison. dassey was convicted of helping his uncle steven avery kill teresa hallbach. a district judge threw out that conviction -- saying dassey was coerced into confessing. but the state appealed that decision to the 7th circuit court of outlines dassey's case. the state will respond in 2 weeks. three arrests have been made in connection with a fox lake woman's death. 36-year-old laverne ware junior is accused of hiding a corpse. his mother and her boyfriend are accused of aiding a felon. the dodge county sheriff's office says the victim is ware junior's girlfriend. according to court documents she was found dead in ware junior's pick up truck and there was a lot of blood in his garage.

to figure out what caused the fire at all saints fellowship christian church... fire officials tell us they think the fire started somewhere inside. firefighters were called to the church at 12th and brown around 1 a-m it was a one alarm fire. they spent a lot of their time on the roof of the structure..hosing it down. estimate about 100 thousand dollars worth of damage to the building according to the church's facebook page..they have bible study scheduled tomorrow night...and services on sunday. reporting live in milwaukee dc fox6 news we are learning new information about a deadly warehouse fire in california. angelica is here with the

firearms and explosives says it is looking at the possibility that a refrigerator or other appliance was the source of a warehouse fire that killed 36 people in oakland, california. officials still say it is too early to say for sure the appliance started the blaze...but say it was a potential source of ignition. the fire happened last weekend, during an electronic music party at the warehouse. the flames came as a dance party was taking place on the second floor...which partially collapsed. causing fuses to blow because the refrigerator kept on shorting out. and they're looking into could that possibly be one of the origins. and one of the people that escaped the fire indicated that they saw flames coming from the area of the refrigerator." the city of oakland says it is conducting its own investigation into why inspectors did not shut the facility down....even though there had been multiple

a louisiana man is back in police custody...charged in the shooting death of a former n-f-l player. and opening statements are expected to start today in the charleston church shooting trial. jessob is in the newsroom with details. a south carolina judge denied dylann roof's attorneys' request to delay the trial. the motion came after a judge declared a mistrial in the michael slager trial earlier this week. attorneys for dylann roof believe the jury may impose a harsher punish up for the judicial system's apparent failure. slager is a former charleston police officer charged with shooting and killing an unarmed man. dylann roof is accused of shooting and killing nine people at a charleston church last year. a louisiana man is charged in the shooting death of a former n-f-l player. joe mcknight was shot and killed last week in a road rage dispute. initially, 54-year-old ronald gasser was taken into custody... but, then released

criticism of police. but police have now charged gasser with manslaughter in mcknight's death. officials say gasser was involved in another road rage incident a decade ago ...at that very same intersection. and a former n-f-l player has been found dead in a park. rashaan salaam - who was a running back for the bears back in the 90s... was found dead in boulder, colorado. police are calling it a suic note was recovered at the scene.. they have not released the official cause of death however. salaam won the heisman trophy at the university of colorado in 1994. in his rookie season with the bears in 1995, he rushed for more than one- thousand yards and ten touchdowns.

in the wake of four deaths within six months inside the milwaukee county jail... county leaders are launching an investigation into the medical services provided to inmates. the board of supervisors chairman has called for an audit of the contract the county has with a private company called "armor" -- which provides medical services at the jail and the house of corrections. the chairman is also questioning how milwaukee county sheriff david clarke has been running the facility. facility. how does that interact with medical professionals and medical care in ensuring other people have adequate access to those professionals. last week... supervisor supreme moore omokunde called for clarke to resign. clarke said in response... he's upset "i got donald j trump elected potus." lipscomb says it's not his place to tell the sheriff what to do... but he does want to launch an external investigation into the entire operations of the jail.
