responded to a home at appleton and florist around 1:30 a- they found a man and a woman in bed, shot to death. police say the victims had been shot multiple times. police also found two kids in the room. a teenager...and an 11 year old were hiding in the bedroom. police tell us they were not harmed...and are not considered suspects. police also say this is not a murder suicide investigation. police tell us the victims were both in their 30s. names. reporting live in milwaukee dc fox6 news. and more breaking news this morning. a man is dead after a shooting and crash. officials say the victim hit a couple of signs and a power pole before hitting a house near 36th and thurston. people in the area who heard the crash...came out to try and help the man.

life-saving measures but the man died. crews did find a bullet wound...but there is no word where the initial shooting took place. the man was from out of town. police continue to investigate. new from overnight. police investigating an armed robbery at the wing stop restaurant near 76th and good hope road. police say the suspect is believed to be an african-american male... roughly 5-feet-3 inches tall. he was wearing a green vampire mask, grey sweatshirt, grey pants, and gloves. police say the suspect showed a silver and black handgun during the robbery... and was able to get away witha no one was injured. the latest now on the recount here in wisconsin. more than 400 missing ballots turn up in greenfield. so far -- the greenfield city clerk doesn't want to say much about it. angelica joins us now with more. this morning, the milwaukee county election commission will have to decide whether to accept the clerk's explanation. here's what happened. greenfields ballot totals weren't matching up with election night numbers. so the clerk called back to her

for misplaced ballots. they found 412 of them in the office. the head of the election commission wasnt happy, and wants the clerk to put a plan in place for the future. the election commission will decide whether to accept the ballots today. and in michigan -- the recount there is over. a judge lifted an order that forced a statewide review of millions of ballots. the ruling found that green party candidate jill stein had no legal standing to request another look at ballots. the court said stein -- who finished fourth in michigan -- did not have a winning even after a recount. stein is now appealing to the michigan supreme court. a developing story now out of racine county. a middle school couple is charged as adults, accused of making a kill list... according to a criminal complaint, 15-year-old jasminne piechocki and her boyfriend, 14-year- old darryl roeschen were talking on facebook. piechocki was naming people she wanted killed.her mother read the conversation and told school officials.

students admitted to having the conversation, with piechocki saying she has a dark mind. roeschen told administrators he thought it was a joke and he never intended to kill anyone.the juveniles are being charged as adults and are currently being held in the racine county juvenile detention center. in wauwatosa-- one person is in custody -- accused of threatening the police department. but police say it's just one of five threats of violence made since monday. that's when it was announced that no charges will be filed against the officer who shot and killed jay anderson. the district attn will review the threat arrest in the coming days. one of the men who pleaded guilty for the fatal shooting of 5-year-old laylah petersen will learn his fate today. arlis gordon and two others planned to get revenge but instead shot at the wrong house in 2014. carl barrett jr. was sentenced one week ago. he will spend 65 years in prison. paul farr also pleaded guilty for his role. gordon's sentencing hearing is set for 8- 15 this morning. coming up - brave chick-fil-a fans braving the cold weather

to a shoplifting call. columbia police tweeted out this picture of the suspect. he fled after stabbing the female officer...and police continue to search for him. authorities say the officer is in stable condition. columbia police are also looking for an escaped inmate. they say he could possibly be the suspect. michael williamson was serving a life sentence for armed robbery and assault and battery with intent to kill. a manhunt is underway in southwest georgia following the shooting of two poli the other officer is in critical condition. it happened at an apartment complex near georgia southwestern state university campus in americus. authorities have named minguell lembrick as the suspect. no word on what lead up to the deadly altercation. a 30-thousand dollar reward is now being offered for the arrest of lembrick. police in nevada shoot a knife- wielding suspect in a reno high school. authorities say the suspect is a 14-year- old high school student....and was threatening others on campus. a

new information now on the deadly wildfires in tennessee. two juveniles now facing arson charges. the youths were from tennessee, but not from sevier county, where the fires started. investigators now say it appears the flames were first sparked inside the great smoky mountains national in the fires and more than 175 more were injured, more than 17-thousand acres scorched by the flames... and nearly 25-hundred structures burned. residents and business owners affected by the gatlinburg fires are being allowed to return to their properties on a full-time basis now. the city of oakland is looking at strengthening regulations for smoke alarms and exits in the wake of a deadly warehouse fire. 36 people died in the fire... most of them in their twenties. officials believe the fire

g the two staircases which led to the second floor ... where the dance party was being held. oakland's mayor says she is creating a national task force to look at fire codes in the bay area city. they plan to crack down on illegal events and consider new building regulations. an unusual situation for security officials at san francisco's airport wednesday. a man ended up running onto the tarmac...and it's all caught on camera. witnesses say the man was sitting on some benches in a terminal -- and agents called security -- but then the man took off running...jumped over some line dividers...and then ran outside into traffic. he then jumped from the upper level...down to the lower level of the airport-- about 30 feet -- and kept on running. that's when he hopped the fence onto the tarmac. police were eventually able to corral him..and take him into custody. a recreational boat approaches the shore near san clemente, california.
