but a judge could halt the effort in the final days deandra corinthios is live in milwaukee to explain a hearing is scheduled today madison...in federal court ...on a lawsuit filed by a supporter of president elect donald trump and two pro-trump super pac's meanwhile --here in milwaukee county...all the votes have been counted. workers cheered as the final ballots went through the machine about around 8 p-m thursday night. statewide-- more than 80 percent of the votes have been recounted. between recount and election night results have been minor. tabulators spent the day counting all 29- thousand of west allis ballots... the final municipality in milwaukee county to complete its recount. the only hiccup throughout the whole process came wednesday when the city of greenfield discovered about 400 ballots in an office in city hall. the greenfield city clerk says poll workers didn't properly package them. but it has all be resolved. "we worked long hours. somedays it was 12, 14 hour days. but we got the job done. im very happy there

results of the election are not going to change as a result of this recount and all the recount workers did a fantastic job" green party candidate jill stein requested the recount and is paying for it. next up: the county must submit its results to the wisconsin election commission. reporting live dcf in the meantime-- president elect donald trump says he's coming to wisconsin. according to his campaign website -- he will hold a "thank you" rally at the wisconsin state fair expo center on tuesday in west allis. the event is at 7. tickets are on a first come first serve basis. we've posted the details on our website-- fox6 now dot com. now to some news from overnight. milwaukee police say a man is fighting for his life after being shot multiple times. the 44-year-old was shot near 27th and galena just before 11

conditions across the country. pileups in michigan and ohio left several people dead. let's start in michigan...authoritie s say three people died and 11 others were hurt following multiple crashes on the interstate in the fowlerville area. about 40 vehicles were involved. michigan state police are blaming slippery conditions for the thursday morning crash. other serious crashes reported across the state as well. and then in ohio -- crews working overnight to clear cars involved in a large chain reaction crash - at least 19 people were injured. the interstate has been closed since 3 yesterday afternoon. the snow making driving conditions very dangerous. crews also had a difficult time clearing the vehicles last night due to the continued snowfall. meanwhile -- washington state and oregon getting slammed with snow. strong winds also toppling trees. two people were injured after trees

last night - the house passed the temporary spending bill that will fund federal agencies through april 28th. it includes a framework that will provide more than four-billion dollars in new disaster relief...as well as 170 million to address the lead crisis in flint, michigan. it also would expedite the process for confirming president-elect donald trump's choice for defense secretary, retired general james mattis. senate democrats however are threatening to delay a quick passage of the bill. they want more for retired coal miners. orbit the earth and on thursday, at the age of 95, john glenn died. the former astronaut had been hospitalized "more than a week ago," at ohio state university's cancer hospital. glenn was the last living member of the group, known as the "mercury 7." after retiring from nasa, glenn continued to serve his country as a u.s. senator, representing ohio on capitol hill for 24 years. meanwhile - glenn's legacy is being remembered by astronomy magazine.
