complete -- and milwaukee county is now finished! statewide-- more than 80 percent of the votes have been recounted. deandra corinthios is live in milwaukee...with what happens next in the process. so far the discrepancies between the recount and election night results have been minor. as milwaukee county is finished...the county must submit its results to the wisconsin election commission checking all 29 thousand ballots cast on november 8th in west allis...the final municipality in milwaukee county to finish. there was a hold up in milwaukee as ballots got jammed in one of the machines - but around 8 pm milwaukee county closed the book on its recount. 400 some ballots were discovered this week at greenfield city hall... poll workers in 3 wards did not properly package them at the end of election day for transport to milwaukee county. but those have

representative for the green party -- spoke as the recount finished. he praised milwaukee county clerks and staff for their hard work. just click on the politics tab! milwaukee police need your help catching a strong-armed robbery suspect. this is surveillance footage near 10th and oklahoma. in the top right corner of the screen you see the suspect try to grab the victim's purse -- and then repeatedly punch her. he then grabs the purse and flees in a gray four door vehicle. if you know anything - call milwaukee police. and we're told a 55-year-old man is under arrest in connection with an armed robb monday night in downtown milwaukee. the suspect is also accused in an attempted strong-armed robbery at real chili... prosecutors should get the case in the coming days. a milwaukee business is warning other companies about a corporate identity theft scam... employees with j-m ellsworth say scam artists stole employee information from email correspondence and are now using it to defraud other businesses. the better business bureau says the crooks often send out a quote request providing credit references found on the company's website. the goods are

georgia police officers is dead. and the officers he shot...have also died. on wednesday -- americus police officer nick smarr responded to a report of domestic violence. southwestern state university officer jody smith -- heard the call -- and decided to help. police say minquell lembrick opened fired on the officers....and for more than 24 hours -- police hunted him. then yesterday -- authorities got a tip call that lembrick was hiding in a house. swat teams arrived...but before officials

the latest now in the charleston church shooting trial. prosecutors say they plan to play dylann roof's recorded confession during his federal death penalty trial. yesterday -- the jury watched gruesome video of the crime scene where 9 parishioners were shot and killed...as well as video of roof entering the church...and leaving with a gun in his hand. roof was taken into custody a day after the shooting. officers testified roof surrendered without incident. the officers say they found a pistol in roof's car. meanwhile - roof's lawyers say his mother suffered a heart court yesterday...after listening to opening statements. no word on her condition. winter weather is coming. when we'll see more snow in our area.... stephanie is tracking the system to help you get ready for what to expect. other midwest states already dealing with blizzard like conditions. where it caused deadly driving conditions and massive power outages. and the packers hoping for another victory at lambeau on sunday. what coach mccarthy says will be a challenge for the green and gold. pip has your morning sports wrap

yellow on traffic map = some delays green on traffic map = no delays a u-p-s driver is dead-- after being shot in upstate new york. the shooting taking place in ithaca...in a walmart parking lot. when police arrived on scene -- they found the ups driver down in the parking lot-- and saw the suspect driving off. officers later spotted the suspect over, but the suspect refused. police say the suspect led police to a home and stepped out of the vehicle armed with a gun. he then barricaded himself inside a home where he kept police at bay for several hours. the man eventually surrendered peacefully--and was taken into custody. detroit police are hoping newly- released video will help them catch whoever shot and killed a wayne state police officer. officials believe the suspect was riding a bike with a small front wheel at the

the president of detroit's police union promised to work with officers to find the suspect and get him off the street. wayne state university police sergeant collin rose was 29-years-old. he was killed while investigating a rash of car break-ins near campus. heavy snow falls across parts of the u-s... causing accidents on many highways. but, some people are enjoying the early blast of winter weather. patricia stark, with a look at the conditions. already causing problems across parts of the country... with snow falling from oregon to pennsylvania. a deadly pileup involving about 40 cars and trucks happened on interstate 96 in michigan thursday. at least three people are confirmed dead and eleven others injured. sanborn says: "we believe due to the slick roads and there was a white out conditions going on that time, we believe that was a contributing factor." snow and freezing rain shut down roads and caused thousands of

wakeup news. turning a drug house -- into a dream home. we energies and habitat for humanity teamed up to build hope for the washington park neighborhood. before habitat bought this house...it was vacant and a site for criminal activity. but now the group breathing new life into the home. habitat for humanity has been focusing its efforts in the washi area. officials say they can see changes in the neighborhood. 'were really seeing these blocks changing on the blocks that were building were seeing a 30% decrease in crime since 2013. were seeing vacant lots go down, property values are stabilizing. so we

next summer..and to meet that deadline the family moving in will help with the construction. we energies will also continue its efforts with a six-day volunteer push this week. calling all knitters and crocheters... the american heart association needs your help! they are looking for donations to help kick off their "little hats, big hearts" program. the hats will be distributed to babies born in participating hospital birthing center throughout the state in february -- which is american heart month. the program raises awareness of heart disease -- which is one killer of americans...and congenital heart defects -- the most common type of birth defect in the country. hats are needed for both newborn and preemie sizes...and should be made of yarn that is red. knitters can drop off hats at triple-a locations - as well as the american heart association offices - throughout the state now through january 15th. for more information..and patterns -- just head to fox 6 now dot com. all anchors chat/toss to 6am
